Close to I-95. Don't know if there is a train nearby or big trucks coming and going from Super 8 motel next door. Woke me up several times during the night. Might be better on the other side of the hallway.

We were traveling. This place was close to the interstate and easy to find. This hotel was nice and clean. Needed a couple more upgrades but comfortable. The beds were a dream. It was within walking distance of a great little barbeque joint. Continental breakfast was small but coffee was good. We would stay again any time.

It was remodeled, but you could tell that who did it was in a hurry. The beds were surprisingly soft and comfortable. No funny smell, tv was great along with the microwave. Nice and quiet area, convenient to basic fast food restaurants

Room on second floor, all utilities worked quietly and well. Our room had a table and chairs, night stand, and dresser combined w/micro n fridge w/flat screen on top. All looked to be newer and the walls looked like it had newer paint. The carpet was also newer and there was no obvious damage to anything in the room. There was a clean coat rack w/plenty of hangers. Hair dryer and iron were also present although we didn't use them. There were 3 fluffy pillows per bed, the towels were in good condition, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was better than many economy type hotels we've stayed. The eating area was a little small but the selection to eat was great. Coffee n tea, apple n orange juice were there. There were 2 cereals and milk, several little sweet donuts, 3 kinds of bread, sausage and egg patties in a steamer, and a waffle iron. No yogurt or peanut butter but I never left unsatisfied. They offered a green option of hanging up the towels to be reused but the maid always changed them. The office staff was friendly and efficient on check in and check out. Pet fee was a little high but the room rate made up for it. They also had almost 20% in various local taxes, not under hotel control. Over all we felt very comfortable and would stay there again.

The area balances rich history with rapid growth. Along the Great Ogeechee River, Fort McAllister Historic Park, once the scene of a Civil War battle, is now a peaceful place to hike, camp, and fish. In nearby Midway, visitors can explore Fort Morris, a seaport fort used during the American Revolution. Midway’s Seabrook Village demonstrates what life was like for former slaves after the Civil War.
