"Excellent location, but small room"
The location is excellent. A quick stroll to Ravenna's museums, churches and to Piazza del Popolo and its many restaurants and cafes. The room is very small, with not much room for suitcases. The location of the toilet is a it a bit weird, with your knees pressing against the shower wall. Overall, a good hotel - certainly for Italian standards.

"Excellent location with a friendly staff"
The best part about this hotel is the excellent location, located within walking distance of all the main sights, as well as places to eat and shop. Hotel staff was very friendly, and while the room was a little small, it was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I go back to Ravenna.

"Nice, very modern hotel"
Nice hotel. Very modern. Had bit of trouble figuring out of the shower controls. Location is a little bit of town, but, what you learn the bus system, you can manage.

"Nice place "
I was working while vacationing due to the hotel' location their internet was very poor. So if you are only vacationing and no need for Internet. I highly recommend this place Great breakfast We drove to faenza to get on the Bologna train It is a small awesome Tuscany style villa. However it is in the heart of russi. I honestly didn't see anything resembling the picture posted on this ad. It maybe their other property

"Nice hotel right on the beach"
Everything was really nice, and the hotel staff was outstanding! They spoke perfect English (great for US travelers), and we had the sea view room which opened right onto the beach! There was a private table and chairs, and for a small fee we were able to have dinner served right outside of our room, which was so nice. We woke up early to see the sunrise over the sea, which was amazing. Overall this was a great stay, however we thought the attached spa was a bit strange. They seemed to have a rehabilitation clinic attached to the hotel, which may be normal for Europe but not for the US. However, this was a great place to stay and I would recommend to others.

"Almost Palace-Like!"
Our bedroom spacious and beds comfy. The bathroom was large with a bidet, large shower with a great shower head, and my favorite: a heated towel bar where we dried our laundry! The continental breakfast was a beauty to behold: croissants, sweet tortes, fresh fruits, yogurts, juices, meats, cheeses, breads, cereals and coffees to order all laid out on beautiful white linens. There are two lounges in which to sit, and it you tell the front desk you want a tea or a coffee or a drink, they’ll bring it in to you. There’s a tiny chapel within the hotel which was interesting and bikes out back for use. The hotel is centrally located--several walking blocks from the train, in the historic section, and close to all the fine restaurants. The price for this room is wonderful--we’d be paying much more in The States for a room of this quality. The reason for the Pleasing in the cleanliness department is that there were large spots/stains next to my bed on the wooden floor--don’t even want to know what that was all about. There is a refrigerator which you have to pull out and plug in. Also there is a wonderful market on the next block if you want to/need to keep snacks or drinks in it. Great hotel--I highly recommend it. (We took a course at the Ravenna Mosaic Art School which was only a 10-minute walk away.)

"Elegant hotel in a lovely location"
We were very pleased with this hotel. Our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, although the bed was a bit too soft for me, with my chronic back problems, and the reading lights next to the bed were somewhat dim. We got an upgrade since we were staying for 5 days. There were biscotti and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on the edge of the old city of Siena and is within easy walking distance of all of the main sites. There was a very extensive and tasty breakfast, and it was well-managed even when there were tour groups in the hotel. We ate dinner at the restaurant a couple of times, and it was very nice. A special feature was the 7th floor patio/bar, which has a glorious view of Siena and the Tuscan countryside. Aah, so beautiful! What a sunset! Highly recommended.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
