The room is lovely. Not the average room. There are horizontal shelves on the wall with real books stacked. The lamp and shade are rectangular. The bathroom door slides, as does the closet door. Things are tucked into the closet out of sight. The desk and dresser and all connected with an interesting asymmetrical desk top. The common areas are so nice, we hung out in the lobby more than once. There was fresh cool lemon water and a really warm fireplace with a selection of all types of seating. The restaurant in the lobby was nice with a good menu. Relaxing choice for us because it was pouring rain.
There is a really cute Starbucks inside, too.

The hotel and room were ok, what you would expect for a hotel with this rating. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I kn8the breakfast was just coffee, instant oatmeal and packaged muffins so that was no surprise. What was a surprise was that there was no dishes, cutlery, glasses or coffee pot in the room.
