"Nice lay out and pool"
The Flamingo is a nice hotel with a clean pool. There is pool service for part of the day but it ends pretty early for summer. I was out there after 5pm and tried to order from a waitress but she wouldn't take my order stating that I had to go to the bar BUT she did take the order of the two older woman who were sitting next to me. I thought that was shady and really rude. The food is good, although the continental breakfast leaves much to be desired. I ordered a burger and the kitchen didn't add my bacon but I was still charged for it. The room I stayed in was really spacious and seemed clean enough. The carpet, however was moist and the room had a weird smell at first. There was also a big stain on the carpet. Nothing major was so bad that I would never stay there again, but I would hope for better service all around.

"Friendly and helpful staff"
We felt very welcomed and were treated special as it was our 20th anniversary. The concierge service is excellent. The rooms were very comfortable. The pool and hot tub area was inviting. The breakfast buffet was good, but seemed a bit overpriced; although it had a nicer ambiance than most hotels.

"Nice set up. Solbar is wonderful! "
Room clean can improve - didn't bother to clean the coffee machine in the room and refill teas. Studio patios can be a little more private by closing it off with more bushes. Guess we are used to asia service and hospitality

"A weekend retreat"
This place was really enjoyable! They're in the middle of upgrading the place, but you couldn't hear any construction - which is great. The pool was extremely relaxing and the premises were quiet. They have some great cruiser bikes to go to the downtown with (less than 5 min flat ride). The rooms were very nice and recently remodeled. The shower was a rain shower from the ceiling which was nice, but the shower head squirts the water pretty hard which kind of diminished the enjoyment. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room came with free snacks and a nice dining room table to enjoy.

"Romantic, quiet place with views and a pool"
We are going there since years and enjoyed it every time. We love the quietness, the friendliness of the staff, the pool, the views into the vineyards, and the afternoon wine tastings. Things that need to improve though is the wonderful garden that needs more attention, and and it's time for a carpet exchange in many rooms.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
