Would have been perfect if there had been a microwave and snack and drink machines available. The room was quiet, very comfortable and had a beautiful bathroom. The staff was friendly and accomadating. Punta Gorda waterfront is beautiful with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Love it that Punta Gorda offers loaner bikes on the honor system.

This is a very clean, well maintained hotel but lacks in location. You are not close to the beaches and the kayaks they have really have no use. The rooms are very nice though, excellent beds, big bathroom, and a lot of shelving for storage of luggage etc.

Built in 1957, this little six room motel shows its age right up front. No surprises , you can tell when you drive up. Rooms small, bathroom tiny, no pool. The water front across the street is not beach . But it served our need to be walking distance from family. With a fold out sofa bed, we fit the five of us on enough bedding and it has a full kitchenette complete with plates and silverware.

Murals adorn the historical structures in downtown and statues commemorate the Native Americans which inhabited the region as well as Juan Ponce de Leon. Visitors with their own boat can launch it from the Laishley Park Municipal Marina.
