Excellence resort was top notch. Friendly help, spotless rooms, great food and top notch entertainment. The only negative I can share is sometimes the water pressure was low at peak hours - but overall I would give 5 stars for this resort, and would definitely return.

Relaxation began with pick up from airport! Everyone gave a warm welcome at the hotel. Even though most of our appts/reservations were booked incorrectly or at times not at all, all were made right and done so professionally that at the end it didn't even matter. Rooms were impeccable and maid service was exceptional. Depending on what you ordered the food ranged from good to the best short ribs I've ever had. Though by far the highlight of this hotel is the staff. Upon learning of my food allergies they took the initiative to prepare alternative dishes without me asking, thank you sweet Brenda! The beach was beautiful though unfortunately adjacent to it had some trash washed up. Service at the beach was simply amazing.. someone would prepare your towels another would bring you drinks and food. The Evian spray was a touch too. Will definitely be going back!

We always go to Cancun area for two weeks in the summer but us and another couple wanted a winter break. We are Royal Resorts owners and have wanted to stay at the Grand Residences force while. Absolutely wonderful stay. We had a two bedroom Beachfront which is just everything anyone could want. Very upscale, roomy, impecculous service and amenities!! It really doesn't get any better than this. Our Conscierge Griselda was just incredible. She arranged our snorkeling trip out of Puerto Morelos, all dinner reservations ( food is exceptional ), our golf outings and spa services for the ladies. Highly, highly recommended!! Just doesn't get any better!!

Just spent 5 amazing days at this resort. The kids pools are great, and all of the pools are very clean although all of the pools are rather cold. The food at the restaurants is good not great but the buffet is really good. Staff is friendly and personable but did seem to linger for tips which I did not expect at an all-inclusive. Beach was beautiful and well-groomed. Would highly recommend.

The food is tasty and they have a very good variety among all restaurants. The menu at the Italian restaurant was delicious. Mahi Mahi with garlick and basil in the Marina restaurant is out of this world. Beach is nice, although full of algae, but you see them cleaning it every day. Extra services for platinum guests are a nice plus. Infinity pool was perfect temperature. Staff is corteous and helpful. It was our second time at the hotel, first time we left wanting to go back, it was a good decision to come back. Everything was almost perfect, if they would stop calling at 9 am in the morning or before to invite us to the guest services desks, for learning about gifts and promotions. (Who wants to be woken up early while in Riviera?). I complained about it and still they called, so I unplug the phone.

Definitely an adult hotel. If you're good with that, you will have a great time. There is something for everyone - 3 pools from chill to party to something in between. The food is excellent and the rooms are great. The beach is nice, but not the best and the location is ok, but you need to be ok with staying just at the hotel. If you're good with all that, you will have an amazing time. There is a great choice in restaurants (~10) with excellent food (lobster, shrimp, steak, etc.). We will definitely be going back!

We enjoyed our stay with Bernardo and Eva. The hosts are friendly and will help you with things to do around the Riviera Maya. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with hammocks to rest in and bikes to go out and explore the colonias.

This was our second stay at this resort. We'll no doubt return for a stay next year. The private pickup at the airport (Mercedes van) is convenient. The resort is small and quiet. Guests are not the loud overserved cliente you encounter in the larger and cheaper all inclusives all around the Caribbean. We've stayed at the Zoetry in Punta Cana, DR and will be at the new Zoetry in Montego Bay in March. Zoetry is an excellent brand and Pariaso de la Bonita represents their commitment to service and quality.

For the money spent, I think it the best deal around. Check prices on expedia. I really enjoyed the stay
The food is above average but not the Ritz. Entertainment is a bit weak but I would recommend it to families with small kids and adults

Pocket Guide: Puerto Morelos Puerto Morelos Hotels
Only 18 km (11 mi) south of Cancun International Airport, the sleepy village of Puerto Morelos offers calm contrast to Cancun, and to lively Playa del Carmen, 32 km (20 mi) to the south. Historically a fishing village, tourism is a relatively recent industry here. A large reef, about 500 meters from the beach, has been declared a national park, and snorkeling, diving, and kayaking are popular.
