Been going for more than 20 years - wonderful setting/location, ideal for "winter sun" escapes plus a large number and variety of restaurants close at hand to have dinner in the evenings if you don't want to cater for yourself. Staff turnover very low so you meet the same staff each visit which helps - all of whom are very helpful.
One of our favourite spots/holiday locations.
Returned yesterday and already booked another week at the end of April.

We have just returned from this hotel and have to say it really was a lovely place to stay. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. I wasn't sure what to expect, it is a small hotel but it has everything you need to make for a relaxing holiday. The swimming pool is not heated and it was a bit cold for February. The food was excellent, there was plenty of choice every day and it all looked fresh and appetising.

"Hotel close to beach, lovely views from balcony."
Enjoyed our week stay, staff friendly. Breakfast well presented, plenty for us to eat. Maybe some improvements in certain areas, under the sink and bathroom areas. There is a busy road outside, so a bit of traffic noise, but didn't keep us awake at night. Convenient bus stops just steps away, so handy. It was as stated three stars, which I would consider was right, didn't break the bank. So I would say good enough for us..

We enjoyed our stay at the Costa Los G... but were very surprised by the amount of things that were not included and the amount of cash we needed on hand (maybe this is a European thing at all inclusives, but not something we are accustom to in Mexico and the Caribbean). We were also a little disappointed that we had to chase the staff for room amenities such as soap and bottled water - small things but they kind of added up. All this said, it was a nice resort for the family (kids 7,5&4) and we had a good time. The pool was great the food as good and the beach was a short 5 minute walk. It was like a cruise ship on land!

We took advantage of a great two week all inclusive deal and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were big and clean, the facilities good and most of the staff friendly. Yes, it's not a 5* hotel, and can be noisy, but it was great value for what we paid. The food and drink was varied and good quality and we had a very comfortable stay.

A very clean yet basic apartment, on check in which was about 9pm, the reception lady was new and asked me to pay for the accommodation which I'd already paid for through Expedia. She let me have the room on the condition I saw the manager the next morning. Fortunately it was all sorted eventually but stressed me out for thee first day!
If you want a hairdryer, ask when you check in, there aren't any in the apartments and they only seem to have 2 or 3 at reception, I managed to get one the evening before my departure.
be aware that the apartments are in a couple of wings and one of these does not get the sun on the balcony at all, might be worth asking for a sun filled balcony in the requests part for the hotel when booking.
I would definitely stay here again but ask for a sunny balcony.

The towns of Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago, and Playa de la Arena are on the west coast of the island of Tenerife, just south of the famous Los Gigantes cliffs. The three are adjacent to one another, with Puerto Santiago in the middle. Of the towns, Puerto de Santiago has more local Canarian residents and traditional Canarian restaurants. Playa de la Arena boasts a gently sloping, black-sand beach.
