The location is perfect if you specify a ocean view. We got a downstairs unit and the deck walks right into the lawn and 50ft from beach. The unit was spacious and useful, renovation was done in December 2015. Furnishing was great and we maximized the kitchen for breakfast and some dinners. There is no AC but the ocean breeze keeps the place cool. No tv either but wireless is fast for streaming. But why not unplug and enjoy the sound of the ocean at night?!? The pool was nice with a fantastic dinner and BBQ area. They do ice breakers and something fun everyday, met some great people. The units are actually owned by real people so they keep real good care of the entire complex. I would give it a 10 out of 5 stars if I can.

We fly on Thursday to save enough for an extra day at our resort location. This one bedroom rental met our needs well. The unit seems slightly dated, but very clean and comfortable. The staff is top notch in friendliness and attention to guests

"Wonderful grounds, great view and friendly staff!!"
Our stay was lovely. We stayed in one of the hotel-type rooms and it was comfy and nicely appointed. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating - especially the golf cart drivers. The Aloha spirit was definitely felt! The only thing holding me back from giving a perfect score is that housekeeping only comes every fourth day, which I am fine with, however they did not replace our glasses and coffee cups with clean ones, nor did they wipe down counters and surfaces. I feel if they only come that often, they should do a stellar job. Other than that - absolutely no complaints.

Absolutely stunning view, very comfortable, nice kitchen but we were only allowed to use 2 of 4 burners on the stove which made dinner a bit of a chore. The hike down to the beach is a bit of hike and that beach wasn’t that great so we had to drive and carry all our stuff which was also a bit of hassle. Also, hauling out all our trash and recycling the day we left was kind of a drag too. Total 1st world issues, I know, and I feel like a jerk for mentioning them but I guess we are spoiled rotten and are just used to room service and a beach right outside our door.

Resort property extremely well maintained. Excellent landscape staff. Our lanai had some patch work present that wasn't all that pretty. The unit was clean. Appreciated the washer dryer though it was extremely small. Gwen and concierge were very nice but other front desk clerks were uninterested. When I checked out I didn't get a good bye or a thank you.

My wife and I stayed at the Hale Ho'o Maha (House of Rest) Bed & Breakfast for 3 wonderful nights in February 2016, and we would highly recommend it. As my wife said, it was like staying in a tree house as all the rooms and common areas are on the second floor served by a very unique elevator, and you have beautiful views of the mountains and the ocean depending on what room you are in. Kirby and Toby were very gracious hosts and the breakfasts provided by Toby were delicious. The common areas are large with a full kitchen available to quests and laundry facilities available. Breakfasts were incredible with omelets, french toast, pancakes, eggs benedict, etc. Many times with Blueberries and Macadamia Nuts, and always with plates of fresh tropical fruit. The breakfasts also gave us a chance to visit with the other quests and exchange plans for the day and previous adventures. Our stay at the Hale Ho'o Maha B&B was one of the highlights of our 11 day trip to Oahu and Kauai and we are looking forward to going back at some time in the future.
