My sister and I came from abroad for a wedding and the location was very convenient.
Room size was comfortable but without an airconditioning service, room ventilation was tricky, as opening the window meant having to deal with the noise of the nearby motorway.
Can't imagine what happens during the warmer summer months.
We rented a car and having arrived late at night, did go around in circles before finding the dark almost hidden entrance to the Hotel.
Once there, Andrew was like the light at the end of the tunnel though!

Once a thriving mill town, Preston has felt the pinch of de-industrialization like much of the northeast. The city is peppered with beautiful old buildings including the Harris Museum and St John's Minster. The River Ribble runs through the south of the city, where the old docks are undergoing regeneration. A little further up the Ribble is Brockholes: a nature reserve with bird-watching hides.
