After reading all the positive reviews a few friends and I stayed at the Sonesta for 3 nights. It was terrific! The rooms were clean, the bathroom had a nice long vanity, the bed was amongst the most comfortable that I've ever slept on in a hotel. We ate at the restaurant for one night and the food was great, but since it is so well located it's hard not to want to eat at other places like Chow Daddy's!
The pool area was busy with kids, the beach was not crowded at all and extremely short walk with water that was a warm 79 degrees. The bicycle rental was expensive and for this we went to the Hilton Head Island bike rental for a fraction of the cost. Bike riding on the beach and on the island was a real treat, no hills, very relaxing and a great way to see a lot.

This resort is a little older but everything was clean and very comfortable . Beautiful beach and the staff was excellent throughout the resort . Please note that you were charged an extra $45 cleaning fee. These are owndd by individuals and the resort manages them . I was in unit A16.

I almost didn't book this hotel based on the reviews I read, but it wasn't a bad hotel. The worst thing I can say is we had to ask them for toilet paper and that the tub/shower leaked. But the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and it was very convenient to every place we wanted to be in Beaufort.

This motel is by far the best location in the heart of Beaufort. The room was spacious and clean. The office served cookies and cold lemon water. They had good maps of town to share. The breakfast room was especially nice. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles and fresh berries. We couldn't be happier with our choice for a place to stay in Beaufort.

"Great location near Parris Island, motel lacking"
Convenient place about 15 minutes away from Parris Island by car with parking. A little expensive per night (~80$), but sharing with family or friends would make it worth the money. Breakfast is 6-9am self-made waffles and maple syrup, raisin bran or frosted flakes with milk, store-bought unwrapped (ew) mini-muffins, orange/apple juice, hot chocolate packets, and coffee in the lobby. There is a highly rated Japanese restaurant (Yama) immediately next to the motel if you want sushi take out or to eat-in hibachi. Again, kind of pricey but not bad. Also a sandwich shop Alvin Ord's in walking distance. Hair dryer didn't work, but didn't complain. The furniture and appliances could be in better condition (the fridge smelled funny, some lamps were rusty, and the stuffed chair had a noticeable rip). Some shady figures outside during the night. Didn't try TV because I just used the complimentary wifi which wasn't bad. Dominos and chinese food available late at night.
