Where to start? Proximity to beaches within minutes? Two or three shopping plazas within walking distance?
The Thai or Mexican place right next door? Or, perhaps the knock-out (!) buffest breakfast served fresh and hot each morning.
Or, maybe I could opine about the entire staff, who we have grown fond of and now consider friends. From the Front Desk to the Housekeeping gals, everyone is super-helpful, and always there to take care of whatever needs attention. Piles of fresh towels and linens, coffee/toaster/micro/fridge set-up for suites and a huge lot to safely park your ride (Note: The spots are very wide for those, like me, who try to avoid dings on their vehicles).
Fancy tennis? Then head to the Front Desk, grab a racket and some balls and go for it. Behind the bountiful bougainvillea you will find a nice array of courts to choose from. Or, hit the Jacuzzi/Pool - both IMMACULATELY-CLEAN - and enjoy. Incidentally, the changing rooms are very nicely tiled, and detailed. Why not grab breakfast at the pool house, then drop downstairs and kick-back by the pool for a relaxing way to start the day.
What else can be said? Not much, except that Casa Via Mar will remain our Casa away from Casa, and we extend our gratitude to the entire staff for their generous hospitality, and serving up the amenities like no other motel within this price range.

Hotel staff is super nice, except for the lady who checked us out. The cleaning ladies , the lady in the breakfast room and the lady who checked us in were very nice. They made us feel very welcomed. The lady checking us out was not very nice and not friendly. The room was big but the water pressure was not good. My only complaint is the water pressure and the lady at check out.

Took me awhile to find the Check in office . I arrived around 8 pm and the office was closed. Had to ring the bell a couple of times. The bed was hard and the bedsheets are thin for winter weather. Anyway, we just need a place to crash for the night. Its better than sleeping in the car.
