"Great hotel, lovely atmosphere. "
We have stayed many times at this hotel as we love the location . We walk all over bangkok and find its easy to get to china town, khao san and siam square. If your not walkers they have a complimentary shuttle to siam square, which is an entertainment hub, twice a day. And an evening shuttle to khao san. The check in is always smooth, the rooms are clean and very large for bangkok. Theres a good size pool and a lovely variety of restaurants. Its not a party hotel but has a quiet piano bar for the evening. The staff are great and really appreciate you trying your bad thai on them. Breakfast is a buffet affair wirh all the normal offerings and a few which are totally asian. A good size plot keeps most rooms away from the noise of the main road. And there is the obligatory seven eleven store two minutes away.

"nice hotel "
we stayed for 2 nights the hotel is clean and spacious, the pool areas are great we only used the one with the bar. It was busy but the kids loved it and was nice to chill out after the long flight. We had the buffet breakfast the following day but wasn't until after we worked out how much we spend on it, ALOT but saying that it was really nice. There was a good locals everyday market not far from the hotel but everything else you needed a tuk tuk or taxi for. Food and drink by the bar was expensive but nice, i guess this is a captial city nice hotel so was never going to be cheap.

"Good city centre hotel ideal for travellers"
I'm an ageing nomad who has often passed through and spent time in Bangkok. This hotel is so handy for travel links to airports, suburbs and more distant places, it pays for itself in saved taxi fares (& hassles!). Ok, it's not luxury but you get a good sized clean room & bed with essentials like aircon & good hot showers, kettle, tv (couple of English language progs). You get a balcony that's handy to dry laundry but no view guaranteed! (My most recent stay I was on the 7th floor at the front -great view!) The place seems well staffed & secure by friendly helpful efficient people. The onsite dining room has a quaint design & is airy & clean. There are alcoves to suit family groups etc. Breakfast is basic buffet style with nice (not bitter!) coffee & choice of teas. ( I loved the Chinese black tea!). The staff keep it clean & organised. Overall this Is a great place to 'visit' Bangkok -a good base - or just as a stopover.

"Quite area and very affordable accommodation "
The hotel is not in a very busy area so very peaceful especially at night. Traveling from hotel is easy as it is on a main road and you can catch all kind of transport there. Staff was very helpful. Rooms are clean and all facilities were excellent. No rating for food as I only eat selective food and hardly had anything there.

"Good hotel, great location and staff"
Older hotel that look to be recently renovated. room was simple and comfortable. Had adequate air conditioning. Staff was extremely gracious and helpful. Hotel is in a good location, right next to Bo Bae Tower, a landmark that every taxi and tuk tuk knows, which was very helpful. Not too far from most tourist sites, but in a quiet, local thai neighborhood right on the canals. For the price it was definitely 5 stars.

This place has opened up recently. The host is fantastic, the atmosphere is very chill and the design of the place is very interesting and unconventional and gives it a unique charisma.

"Reasonable price with wonderful staff."
This hostel is in a great location--near the Grand Palace and near the best Pad Thai in Thailand. The facilities are basic but very nice. We were in the 5 person family room, and it was a wonderfully restful room (in our travels, it was the best room for sleeping that we have ever had). The hostel is clean, and the staff went out of its way to make us comfortable. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. She cares about the visitors and works to ensure that you have smooth travels and a good experience. For the facilities, the price is extremely reasonable. We plan on staying there again if our travels take us back to Bangkok.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
