I stayed with friends at one of the 3 bedroom villas and from the check in and check out process, the hotel desk staff were amazing. The pool was sorely needed after an afternoon from the nearby wineries.
Thank you Cypress Lakes, we will be back!

The Convent Hunter Valley is a beautifully preserved building that has been lovingly restored with all of the modern comforts you could ask for. Set on stunning grounds, it's within walking distance of the Hope Estate, so it's fabulous for a stay that includes a night of music under the stars. The room was immaculate and sumptuous, the breakfast generous and delicious, and the staff helpful and friendly. We loved our stay there and would definitely return.

Stayed just one night, great room, clean bathroom and good bed. Did not use kitchenette. Location excellent, center of village and walking distance to shops and some wineries. Close to iHop bus if you dont want to drink and drive ;)

We chose Harrigans for our young family (5 yr old & 6 month bub) given pool, bouncy castle and restaurant options.
What really impressed me was that Harrigans only charged me for 1 night instead of the 2 booked after realizing my faux-pas of the wrong dates. Seriously appreciate their responsiveness.
Restaurant options were good, brekkie similarly with the option of eating inside or on outside terrace. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Will definately stay again.

Originally inhabited by the Wonnarua tribe, the village of Pokolbin serves as the center of Hunter Valley's wine country. Surrounding mountains modulate the climate and protect vineyards. Excellent meals to accompany one's wine can be found at Hungerford Hill Wine Village. Meanwhile, Lindemans Hunter River Winery and Vineyards houses a collection of historic winemaking tools.
