Amazing beach front hotel. Not like the huge chain hotels where you get lost. Cozy friendly and worm.
We upgraded to a ocean front room and it was worth every penny!!! We had breakfast in the porch 15 feet away from the ocean every morning. Amazing. Room 180 is on the far right and was great location.
Figure about 50 dollars a day more for the resort fees and taxes.in a
very friendly staff. Out of their way to help. Complementary vallet parking. They bring you car in less them a minute.
My wife had 3 massage and loved it. All of them right next to the ocean.
Nice pool and hot tub. Most of the time we were alone in the tub (and pool) as its a fairly small resort.
Over all: great.

The hotel was nice and the space of our three room villa was awesome. The pool was very large and peaceful and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. The walk to the beach was longer than expected based on the construction and the road is not safe for young kids as it does not have walking paths. We ended up driving most places. The villa we had was a partial ocean view and the construction noise was quite loud and while the banging might not start until 9 am - the crews arrive around 6 am and are not the quietest. Additionally, we had to call in twice to complain they were going well past 8 pm a couple nights. I would not recommend an ocean view because of this - but the resort view villas seemed to have the quiet one craves on vacation.

The condominium I was supposed to stay in had a faulty front door lock. I did get to see the interior and it was on the second floor, and it was clean and sufficient. The beds were okay, looked like they could use new mattresses. The management upgraded me to a nicer unit on the first floor. It was clean and quiet. The downside was that I was uncomfortable sleeping at night with the sliding glass door open, and that was the only window ventilation available with no air conditioning. It was nice. The bathrooms were very nice, laundry in the unit was convenient, and it was certainly centrally located on the island, which is what I was looking for. All in all, I had a nice stay.

Nice Condo facilities close to the beach. Current construction renovations was a worry I had going there but really it was no big deal. Staff was friendly and kind. Facilities were nice and I am sure once everything is updated it will be perfect. Poipu is a great location to stay too it is a more quiet side of the island.

I've stayed at the other resorts in Poipu and was looking for something a bit different for a family of 4. The Aston really fit our needs. The room we rented was a condo with a full kitchen, a large living room, a large master bedroom, and a nice second bedroom. It was really like staying at someone's house for a week. We saved a fortune on meals and it was nice sitting down after a day at the beach on a nice couch to read a book.
The room was not on the beach, but it was a walk or short car ride to the main beach.
If I had to choose between the Aston or a different Poipu resort for my next stay, I would gladly rebook the Aston.

"Love this place. Best place to stay, relax & enjoy"
The manager was very nice and helpful. A big thank you to her. The condo we stayed was beautiful. Ours was the best spot with almost 180 degree view of the ocean and sunset. The best vacation we had ever had. We enjoyed ocean view breakfast and lunch. Sunset view dinner. We even met neighbors who were very friendly and nice. Everything above made us feel at home. We saw turtles too. We would definitely return to this place again in our next trip. its close to Poipu beach as well where there is a kiddie pool.

On Kauai’s south side, Poipu is known for its gentle waters, which make snorkeling and swimming ideal; Mahaulepu Beach and Shipwreck Beach are among the favorites. Nearby, the Kauai Coffee Company, Hawaii’s largest coffee plantation, is open for tours. West of Poipu, sweeping vistas greet visitors at the Waimea Canyon, while the surf and lava collide at the Sprouting Horn.
