"Welcoming and friendly"
We were greeted on arrival by Lenka who was very friendly and who spoke excellent English. Although we arrived well before the official check-in time, Lenka wasn't fazed, and offered us water/fruit juice whilst she worked with reception desk to allocate a room. She then sat with us to explain how the hotel worked (breakfast times, the spa, the fee wine etc.) and to answer questions. The room was really clean, well laid out and comfortable and with lots of small well-designed details. I can't find any fault with it. Breakfast was similarly well presented with good choices of healthy food. The hotel also provided a daily update on the weather together with ideas for places to rest for coffee or to catch a bite to eat. The guest area on the lower ground was also welcome as somewhere to rest and to sit for a coffee, wine or beer. (The free wine at 6pm-8pm was a nice touch!). Overall the hotel functioned incredibly smoothly and with a friendly air and a personal greeting from the staff at reception. I would stay again. I recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in a quiet, but will situated central location. Prague is a great city and the Emblem hotel represents Prague well.

"Central location"
We stayed six nights at hotel Kings Court during our visit to Prague. Our room was at the 6th floor looking at a busy pedestrian area. Hotel's lobby is small, does not allow one to pass time waiting for friends or family members but it is beautifully furnished. The room was spacious, clean and stylishly furnished. There were few problems from the start. I am a coffee drinker and at a 5 star hotel one expects to find an espresso machine not instant coffee in the room. There were no bathrobes in the room until we made appointment to use the spa. By the way the spa is beautiful and is quite affordable. The biggest problem with the room was the noise level. From what I observed Prague is a party city and we were in it every night when we wanted to sleep. The busy pedestrian area attracts people at all times of the night and the noise travels into your room. I appreciate that the hotel has no control over this but possibly better sound proof windows would help. The breakfast was included in the stay and the hotel has a charming restaurant that serves a gorgeous spread every morning. The staff is very helpful, accommodating and professional. If you stay at this hotel you can walk to any one of the main attractions of the city in less than 20 minutes. The shopping and musical venues are also in a short walking distance. If I go to Prague again it would not be in July or August but I would stay in Hotel Kings Court possibly at a room looking to the courtyard.

"Happily surprised!!"
My wife and I arrived at the airport and took the bus to the main metro terminal. We then transferred to a tram which stopped directly in front of the hotel. The hotel staff spoke English and were very friendly. We arrived in the morning and they happily stored our luggage. We returned to check in and again the staff was great. Our room appeared new with updated furnishings. The bed/pillows were fantastic! The morning buffet which was included in our stay was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with good air con. Breakfast was acceptable but not amazing but as it is a small hotel it is unfair to compare with the big hotels with lots of guests.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
