Able to walk to the Harbour, Plymouth rock, Mayflower 2,Grist Mill. They have discounts on ticket for places around there. Staff super helpful and nice. Pool was great, it was pirate themed and had a big slide. The food at the hearth & kettle (restaurant in hotel) was delicious. We at dinner and breakfast there. Large portions but was a little pricey, but expected for a tourist location.

This is an older hotel in a good location. It could use some updating but it is perfectly adequate.
We were situated in an outlying building but when we returned to our room later in the evening there was a noisy party next to our room. A call to the front desk got us another room immediately and a staff member who spoke to the people who were noisy. That was impressive and we really appreciated the quick response.

If a staff member could make a hotel, then this is the place. Wonzell on the front desk has defined the job and offers such a warm and genuine welcome as well as information about the area.
Rooms are perfect and clean and there is a well kept pool and gym. Breakfast is well stocked and calm compared to similar places.
Overall, much more than the grade of hotel would suggest. This is how you do hotels and how much value staff can add.
( recommend the local whale watching also)
