We were a late check-in (9:30pm) and upon opening the door to our room, we were presented with an extremely strong smell of East Indian curry. I enjoy eating a variety of cuisines and do like the taste of curry however, that is not the first odor I enjoy smelling when entering my hotel room. The room had a full size refrigerator and mini kitchen with an ice tray filled and ready for use in the freezer. The kitchen had a small, two burner stove top, microwave and dishwasher. As I opened the utensil drawer to look for a spoon, I noticed several long black "hairs" laying across the utensils. I decided that I did not really need a spoon after all. I opened several other drawers and noticed that there was a hair in one other drawer as well. The small desk located next to the kitchen had "sticky" food all over it and we also found an empty water bottle, miscellaneous receipts and food wrappers next to the side and foot of the bed. As my wife was getting ready for bed, she pulled back the sheets and noticed several long, blonde hairs near the pillow and top sheet. I was here for an appointment and had some work to complete and was unable to connect to the provided wireless internet for the whole trip. I called down to the front desk and mentioned these issues to the clerk (who was very apologetic) however, nothing more was done. I was transferred to a technical support line for the internet but, after 30 minutes on the phone, the result was that the hotel was having internet issues.
