Had a really nice stay here. You can't beat the location immediately next to campus, and the hotel staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, and had an unbeatable view of the Camponile but a little bit cramped.
The room had some tech. issues: the phone didn't work, the remote barely worked, and the window wouldn't stay open. But all of these were rather minor inconveniences. For the most part the hotel was exactly what we needed, the only thing that I got hung up on was how expensive the parking was.

The Hotel was nice with a friendly staff, it was pretty quiet thru the night. I would just caution that while we booked a Queen sized bed, it was not a full sized Queen bed, more of a Full Size, which I would not have booked. Also and maybe to make the bed look larger the pillows were not standard size but something smaller, the bed did have 4 of them but it didn't make up for the small size of each pillow.
Over all it was a nice hotel.

Always heard about how bad Oakland, CA is, from the 70's on. Ex. Inn and Suites disproved some of this rumor. Very comfortable place and QUITE! (I'm a light sleeper). A major freeway and train tracks close by didn't hear a thing (Except for the Rino family that took up the room above us).
I was pleasantly surprised at the quite and view of the bayside.

I stayed for one night only but I found the staff, facility and room to be pleasing and comfortable. The only thing that I was not satisfied was with parking space. My room was in the front side but I had to park in the back side and walk my way around to the front.
