"Very Good Location and Comfort"
Normally I make reviews when I get a bad experience but this time I will make an exception for a very good experience. I chose this hotel based on the previous reviews. Let me tell you I wasn't disappointed. Please take into consideration that this is a review for a mid-range hotel, so I will not be talking about the type of cotton for the bed sheets. You get maximum 10 minute walking access to the palace, Mayor plaza, and pretty much all the restaurants. We had the suite to have more room for our toddler. The room was very clean and daily well maintained. Kitchenette was equipped with the necessities to prepare toddler food. The supplied baby crib was new and clean. Breakfast was decent. There was variety, but not extravagant. We took the hotel breakfast only on the last day, I wish I had it other days as well. We thought we had to find a Churros place, but guess what they had Churros for the hotel breakfast. Also they had the toddler chair. For some reason you will not get toddler chair in restaurants in Madrid, so that's also a plus. Don't forget the visit the vintage car museum at the basement.

The hotel itself was overall good. Wish we could have been a little closer to the center of the city, but it was an easy walk. Staff was friendly. Loved the coffee machine in the lobby!

"Great hotel in the center of Madrid"
A fantastic experience they speak English and Spanish which was very helpful and knew a lot about their city of things to do. They even sell Madrid tour City tickets so you don't have to go look for them.

"Nice hotel close to Plaza Espanya and the Palace "
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My room was warm and comfortable with good internet and TV. The bathroom was well appointed with a good shower, toilet and bidet. Every morning I had breakfast which was a great buffet. A good way to start my day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The subway from the airport or bus station takes you to Plaza Espanya and from the subway it is a short walk to the hotel. You can catch the hop on hop off tour bus in the Plaza too and there's easy access to other buses around Madrid. Gran Via runs from Plaza Espanya to many great places to visit and I enjoyed the walk night and day. It's also very close to the Police Station you go to when your wallet or phone gets stolen. This is unfortunately a common occurrence. The thieves are very professional and in my case I didn't feel or notice when I was robbed. Keep your money in different places and seperate from your card. Backpacks are targetted!!

Had a great stay. Hotel smelled wonderful. The staff was so helpful. Our flight was at 7am. The front desk made arrangements to have a breakfast box ready for us before leaving for the airport since breakfast was included and we would not get to participate. Would visit again.

"Long weekend in Madrid"
Good value for money. Room clean, reasonably comfortable and quiet (especially considering it was on second floor overlooking Gran Via). Towels, shampoo, soap ok. TV poor. Internet access good. Booked day before and wondered why Saturday was three times price for other 2 days. Arrived to find first night was at a much overpriced hotel on 5th floor and needed to transfer hotels at noon the next day. So if one day dearer, beware!

The hotel is very well situated andclose to one of the bussiest shopping streets in the city For its class and price .the accomodation is reasonably good . There is a safe in the room which is a very important amenity to have. We do miss a coffee or tea maker in the room.

Plaza de Espana is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Plaza de Espana, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Plaza de Espana hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
