"Great updated hotel"
This hotel was great! The room were a great size, it had a fridge and a microwave. The staff was helpful and friendly. Very clean and up to date. Located near Plaza España and a metro stop. I would definitely stay here again.

"Nice hotel close to great sites"
This is one of the best hotels around Gran Vía and Plaza de España. The price is excellent and what they offer is very good in everything. The staff at the reception is kind and very helpful. I know this is not a 5-star hotel but I am very satisfied with the rooms, breakfast, cleaness and location. Just around the corner you will find a Metro station (Plaza de España).

"Great location "
Hotel very good. Only didn't give full marks because room was very dated with cracked tiles on bathroom floor , bedrooms could do with a refurb. However would stay again and ask for a better room next time .

"Nice Hotel"
We thought we had paid for a triple room (one double and 1 single bed) however we were given a rollaway bed which was very uncomfortable. Apparently I was told that the hotel does have this combination of room but that was unclear when i booked as I paid extra. No freebies where offered to compensate. Buffet breakfast has no options for vegetarians in the hot section, therefore need to stick to bread and cereal which was a bit disappointing for our 5 day stay, simple hash browns with baked beans would have been nice occasionally.

"Decent Hotel for Larger Groups"
The hotel was clean and accommodated our group of 7 quite well - there was a double bed, sofa bed, and 2 bunk beds. The kitchen had all of the basics and the washroom was OK as well (although 1 washroom for a large group can be a hassle sometimes). The Wifi was a bit wonky, but I found this was typical of many hotels in Spain. It is very nicely situated; it's walking distance to a few tourist attractions, such as the Plaza d'Espana, Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor. It's also close to Gran Via, which is a main street that is more similar to those in large cities in North America - it has lots of shops and bright lights, although it largely lacks the uniquely European architecture and charm of many smaller adjacent streets. It was nice to be walking distance from the shops, tourist destinations, and restaurants. Overall it's a decent place to stay, particularly for large groups visiting Madrid who prefer staying together in one suite for a reasonable price.

"Hotel for sight seeing"
Location of this hotel to central Madrid is good. Clean rooms good breakfast well worth the 13 euros .one word of warning if you have a room on the front keep your window closed at night a night club 30mtrs away gets a bit rowdy until 04.am better still ask for room on rear

Plaza de Espana is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Plaza de Espana, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Plaza de Espana hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
