Absolutely loved this hotel. Met with a welcome drink, friendly and helpful reception staff. Luggage was taken to our room which turned out to be a suite overlooking the pool with balcony. Spa facilities and back massage were thoroughly enjoyed, we actually fell asleep! Choice of restaurants on site and relaxing bar. Couldn't fault this hotel. Great entertainment, brilliant location next to the marina with fab shops and wonderful restaurants, so much choice. Would go back again.

A good stay, only marred by difficulty getting a problem with the TV resolved (The only English news programme tuned in was a Nigerian programme which was biassed the Nigerian domestic news. The tuning was locked to prevent guest retuning), in spite of repeated requests to Reception including a demonstation of the problem to one of the Recepton staff who happened to be passing the room. Eventually had to ask to speak to the Manager, and then the problem was resolved immediately with politeness and efficiency. Impressed that the Manager checked with us the next day that all was still OK, and explained that all the TVs had had to be retuned and that, unfortunately, ours had not retuned correctly.

It was a great place with a good atmosphere in the day around the "Party pool" but once it goes 6 the entertainment is shabby simialar to watching Mr Bean while your mums hovering at the age of 30!! There is also a restraunt all you can eat there but dont be fooled we were advised everything in the room was 14 Euros each so we sat down with our food and cup of orange juice one of the staff belive his name was antonio came over quite aggressivly and advised we would have to pay for the drinks although he stated it was all inclusive with the 14 euros food was medicocre the puddings were great. For a good night out if you come make sure to check out jungle on the sea front about a 5-10 min walk.

The original port and fishing village maintain an agreeable low-key buzz with good bars and restaurants, but it is the beaches that make Playa Blanca famous. West of the centre, on past the new and expanding fashionable Marina Rubicón, and a clutch of luxury hotels, lie the island’s finest golden white coves, known collectively as the Papagayo beaches. Three small cafes are the only development in this protected area.
