"Hotel is clean and comfortable"
We spent one night in the hotel after skiing in nearby Appalachian ski resort. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but looks like the facility is a little bit old. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very good.

"Quaint Inn, fantastic location!"
This adorable little Inn is practically on Main Street of Blowing Rock! Room 7 was very quaint with rustic decor. The location is excellent, and it was so much fun to walk around and look at all the shops and try some tasty restaurants. As far as accommodations, I enjoyed the homey feel, versus a chain hotel...it made our mountain trip more fun and authentic. If your stay includes children, there is a public park on the other side of Main St. During our stay we also visited a few antique shops in the area. We also enjoyed sifting through rocks/minerals at Doc's Rocks Gem Mining (kiddos loved it). Other activities included a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to Linnville Caverns, which was a 45 minute drive through gorgeous mountainside. We took a tour of the caves and it was fun for both kids and adults. We wanted to hike to Linnville Falls afterward, but it was rainy. On our way home we stopped at Linnville Winery for a tasting. Yum! As for food: We got coffee from Camp Coffee Roasters at the end of Main St. every morning. We tried Southern Comfort for breakfast and it was affordable and the food was good. Blowing Rock Brewery has delicious food and beer. Bistro Roca was pricey and more formal, but it was easily the most delicious food and cocktails I've had in a long time (Black & Bleu Steak...omg). It was all very picturesque (both the Inn and downtown!), and we'll definitely be returning for future stays at Blowing Rock. For the price and location, it can't be beat.

My husband and I always stay at this hotel every time we come up to Boone, which is quite often. We love it, it is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the indoor heated pool is very nice and clean. We will pay more for a room at this hotel than to stay at another hotel for cheaper. Would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Boone and Blowing Rock.

"Nice older hotel but well maintained."
The room originally assigned to us was very small and not well furnished, no place to put luggage. Fortunately they were able to give us a two room "suite". That suite is also sparsely furnished with poor lighting but the added space was pleasing. The lobby is very attractive, afternoon wine hour was very nice and breakfasts were good. The staff, while accommodating, were young (high school students) and unfamiliar with the town. It appears that the hotel is more useful for a one night stay rather than 3 or 4 nights as we were.

"Served the purpose"
We booked this hotel using Expedia and read the reviews. We just wanted a clean place to stay while in the area and we got that at Super 8. The room appeared to have been recently updated and remodeled. We also had a big selection of items for breakfast from which to choose. We would stay here again.

Pisgah National Forest is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Pisgah National Forest, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Pisgah National Forest hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
