I made a reservation through Expedia for two rooms and prepaid through Expedia. When we got to the hotel, there was no reservation. I was on the phone with Expedia for over an hour talking to various unhelpful Expedia staff to try to straighten this out. I was embarrassed in front of my guests. I used many cellular minutes. It was awful. The hotel staff was nice and so was the hotel.

Hotel was more than I expected. Staff was awesome from beginning to end. Mrs. Florence and Mr. Brian are very good at their craft. Hotel was close to all shopping and entertainment. Breakfast was great and the room itself was clean and relaxing. Hotel is 2nd to none. I will recommend to anyone and will be my stop every chance or vacation I get! Thanks

Evening and morning staff were super friendly! Front desk clerk called a few mins after I checked in to see how the room was and if I was satisfied. Very nice touch!. Room was a great deal last minute deal. Good location off Matthews and Pineville. Next to small shopping plaza, tucked back on the road. Which allowed for no traffic noise, also nice. The road is kinda easy to miss and only a tiny sign marked it. I passed it twice when looking for it. Room also had fridge, microwave, desk, recliner, small dining table, ironing station. I do wish it had a coffee maker and hair dryer. But for an overnight stay, I fared just fine. They have a grab and go breakfast set up. I prefer a soft mattress over a firm one, but the 5 pillows was great! I was in Charlotte checking out the area for a possible relocation for a job. Would stay there again.

We arrived around midnight after an event in another part of Charlotte. We were pleased to still be able to check in. When we got in the room, which was a non-smoking room, it smelled a little like smoke. The room as a whole looked pretty good, maybe even a little bit remodeled. That is, except for the recliner in the corner, which looked to be a number of years old. The bed was a little too firm for our liking, but I can't complain about that too much. One little issue is the continental breakfast ended at 9am, and even though it is my fault for oversleeping, I feel it could have stayed open until 10am.

The Charlotte Beltway connects Pineville with Charlotte, as well as the ring of satellite communities that orbit North Carolina’s largest city. Find a slice of yesteryear at an antique shop in Pineville’s low-slung downtown, which evokes old-fashioned, small-town America. Pineville is convenient to Carowinds, a theme park that straddles the North and South Carolina state border.
