"A little quirky in some ways, but a good value"
i have stayed in many hotels over the years, so when I saw the photos of the rooms and amenities, I was a little surprised. How could a hotel that looked like that charge so little per night? So when we were in Phoenix we spent two nights there. What we discovered was actually a hotel with a motel setup. In other words, there is really no lobby, just a check in desk. Each room has direct access to the outside - no inside corridors with rooms along each wall. What we have here is basically a Motel 6 with upgraded bedding, mattresses, stainless steel fixtures and granite countertops. The attitude in the office is also a little different. After we paid for our room (in advance) the hotel then had a "hold" on my credit card "just in case...." But we were very comfortable. Good sleep!

"Nice hotel close to ASU"
The staff I encountered (upon check in and check out) were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent and is less than 10 minutes from ASU. The breakfast is fair, but I wouldn't expect more for the price which was extremely reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia

"Great hotel, but overpriced"
This hotel is definitely catering to a certain kind of crowd. The Lamborghini always parked out front makes that pretty obvious. The grounds of the Omni are maintained very well and 90% of the staff are exceptional. The pools get pretty packed, but are very nice (if Omni management reads this, you guys need more pool staff). Our room was great. Regarding the food/drinks, the prices don't match the products. Breakfast was consistent and delicious. Outside of that, the only consistent part of the food were the exorbitant prices (we ubered into town for better dinner choices). Sorry, Omni...your food isn't THAT good. Anyway, I feel like I'm writing a negative review, which I don't mean to do. We would definitely stay here again. The place is beautiful, clean, and the service is great.

"Airport Hotel"
We had a comfortable 3 night stay. We did not use the pool due to being out visiting friends most of the time and a air quality warning on our last day in town. The elevators did not work one night, which was okay for us to take the stairs but could be not okay for some. The breakfast buffet was unimpressive and when the server found out we were there for the buffet (that they had sold us at check-in), he ignored us completely.

    Explore Phoenix

Arizona’s capital and biggest city, sun-kissed Phoenix really rolls out the red carpet for visitors. The best launch pad for exploring? The Cityscape entertainment district in the heart of downtown. It’s easily reached from Sky Harbor International Airport on the PHX Sky Train, which connects with citywide light rail.

After a cheesy egg dish at Matt’s Big Breakfast, learn about the Southwest and its native people at the one-of-kind Heard Museum – don’t miss the kachinas. The special exhibits always shine at the nearby Phoenix Art Museum. Refuel after a day of museum hopping with gourmet pizza from beloved Pizzeria Bianco or a hearty steak at old-school Durant’s. We love those dark booths.

The city’s most famous landmark, Camelback Mountain, is a popular spot for a hike. Just north, the Musical Instrument Museum offers an engaging symphony of global sounds. Spend an afternoon exploring the sprawling Desert Botanical Garden – the desert wildflowers are a highlight. If pampering is your goal, the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa is a classic, well-manicured getaway.
