It isn't a five star hotel, but it was excellent for this class of a motel. We got into the airport late about 12:30am. Their shuttle came very quickly to pick us up. The driver was nice and answered a lot of our questions about the area. We were hungry so he offered to take us somewhere to get something to eat after we checked in and got settled. It's a new motel and everything was very clean and nice, the furnishings etc. were not necessarily the highest quality, but very nice and functional. Lots of plugs for our family to plug in all our devices. Breakfast was nicer than some with quite a few choices, including omelets and waffles. It was by far the cheapest place we stayed on our 10 day trip to the east coast, it maybe was not as grand as some, but as far as being clean, functional and spacious, it was a top contender.

We came to Philly for a concert from 3 hours away. It was easy to get to, even if you didn't have a GPS. There were a couple places a little closer to the stadiums, but not enough to merit the price. When we went up to our room, a trash cart was left in the narrow part of the stair way and junk had spilled from it. We let the desk clerk know and it was immediately cleaned up. For a budget facility, the grounds are very well maintained with mature trees around the parking area, which helped keep the heat level down. (the temp was 98) There was a family style restaurant within walking distance, which saved on having to do more driving. They are pet friendly, with an area to walk your dog and the supplies conveniently placed for pet parents to maintain the space for their fur-kids. We got the basic 2 standard-bed room. there was one small scar on the wall where the paint was chipped and a 6 inch crack in the tub surround above the faucet, but other than that, the room was clean, quiet, and in good working order. This worked so well for us, we are booked for another "concert visit" in September.

we need a hotel close to airport as we had a 5am departure. This hotel was only about a half mile from the airport and had free 24 hour airport shuttle available. they offer room service and delivery from several restaurants which was convenient since we didn't have a car.

This doesn't even come close to other doubletree hotels that I've stayed in. Bed wasn't very comfortable. The lobby and hallways smelled like cheap men's cologne. They also seem to have issues with the room keys to get out of the parking lot. I saw many people including myself a few times, have issues with the gate to get out of the parking lot.
The bright spot was the bar and restaurant, the food was very good.

The hotel was great for our stay for the NCAA tournament. It was about a 30 minute drive to downtown philly, which was okay with us.
Hotel was clean, staff was great. Good amount of GOOD tv channels. Clean bathroom and even the beds were decent.
Great for the price.

Because of their lofty concept, it is tough for one person to get up & shower & get ready without waking the other. The only way to turn on bathroom lights, turn on all lights in sink area, which then filters to the whole room.
