"Close to entrance to Petra."
Definitely not a 5 star hotel. 4 star at best but probably one of best hotels in Petra. Beautiful courtyard dining. Service was good. Jordanian people are very friendly. There was a party on our second night and very loud music till midnight. Supposed to be free mini bar that is refilled daily but all our mini bar items disappeared second day. Had to call to replace them. Room was old and needed updating although website said recently renovated rooms.

Check in was ok, this is a IHG manged property how ever you can not get any points? They provided a nice fruit plate. The Cave is next door for drinks which is nice. The room was small, crapped, bed small but comfortable, nice balcony to sit out, breakfast buffet was good, no complaints, it is close to the ruins but would I stay again? God if you are exploring the ruins! ENjoy

"Best deal in Petra"
We were a group of 4 (three Americans, 1 French) and were all very impressed with this hotel. We heard that hotels in Petra are not very nice but this hotel is the exception. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are very clean, shower pressure is amazing, bathroom is modern, AC works very well, and the beds are extremely comfortable (the linen is all white, soft, and you sleep like a baby). After a long hike in Petra, I'm very happy that we came to this hotel for a much-needed rest.

"Good bed, quiet room, super friendly staff"
My wife and I parked our car and a staff member popped open the trunk and had our baggage out of the car and at the front desk before I exited the car. We were greeted with fresh juice at check-in and our bags taken upstairs immediately. We stayed 3 nights and the staff were extremely kind and spoke English well. The room was very clean and had wonderful view. The free hotel shuttle was very clean and took us to Petra entrance whenever we wanted, even the "Petra at Night". We ate good meals (one with room service) and one night we had the buffet which was fantastic. I work in Amman and this hotel buffet was the best meal I have eaten while in Jordan. My wife loved the fresh fish from the Red Sea. The bed and linens are better at this hotel than at my residence...very comfortable! I recommended this hotel to a co-worker and he stayed here also with a similar experience . I will definitely return to this hotel.

"Nice little place to rest after Petra"
This is a small hotel in Wadi Musa. It is a short 5jd taxi ride to the gates of Petra. The rooms are very small but very comfortable. This is a simple budget friendly hotel that is adequate for an overnight stay. Very clean place also. You do not need to pay high prices to be next to the gates of Petra. This place also has lots of shopping outside the hotel that is walking distance. Save some money and stay in Wadi Musa rather than Petra

"Great location with outdated hotel"
The hotel is located close to Petra gate. The establishment is pretty old and might need a bit of renovation. Overall service is ok. Breakfast could use fresher items. For the price the overall experience could be a bit better. However it is one of the cheapest hotel available within proximity of the gate.

"Excellent stay! More than we even hoped for =)"
The Seven Wonders Hotel was just excellent. Classy decor, clean, great location, friendly, helpful and professional staff, felt taken care of, quiet, and slept very well. The rooftop has a sweet lounge/eating area in the open with a great view. The pool was nice as well. All in all loved it! As for the location, it is about a 15 minute walk up from the main entrance of Petra. I would recommend just to take a taxi on the way up, it's quite the incline. The plus is that you are just a couple of blocks up near great places to eat if you want to try local dishes, prices are better there than right by the entrance of Petra. There's also a bank just down the road.

"Petra"
Monhammed and staff were excellent. Room was comfortable. Balconies have a great view of the city. I wish there was a key they could give us for the front when arriving late from enjoying the town after hours.

Petra is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Petra, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Petra hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
