Overall the hotel was very nice having checked out I did suggest a few things that I think would be great if changed. The first change that I told the receptionist about was that myself and my partner found there was a shortage of tea coffee and milk, therefore suggested that there should be more of these especially milk.
The only Chris as a criticism I had was that we went down on our first morning to pay for a breakfast as it was not included in my price however after sitting down noticed that all the food was being leaned over by members of the public therefore any wool fluff ect, could've fallen into the open containers of food we therefore decided to only have a few bits from this section and a few bits that we did have were very greasy!
I was told the price of the breakfast before entering the dining room and did pay for it when I signed out however we decided that the second morning the breakfast was definitely not worth the money.
My last positive comment will be the fact that you check out at 12 o'clock which I thought was brilliant and gave us plenty of time to have a lay in and get packed I wish all hotels did this overall I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again.

we were disappointed in our stay. No where on our booking did it say we were being put in a disabled room. We were walking and in the evening looked forward to a soak in a bath. impossible in the disabled bath provided. We each tried to crouch in the square left by the seat but was awful. When we said that we had not booked a disabled room, we were told that was our booking and we could not change.

This was a quick overnight stay to see family and friends. We found the staff very pleasant and friendly, the room was excellent, clean and the facilities more than adequate. We did however have one small problem in the early hours with the room next door. They had obviously been out drinking for some time and decided to keep the party going well after 1 am in the morning. All credit to the night staff, he immediately went to the room and sorted the situation out. A real credit and highly professional member of staff. The breakfast next morning was again excellent and with a choice that many hotels do not provide. All in all a nice and friendly hotel and staff.

Sitting on the banks of the River Nene in the flatlands of East Anglia, Peterborough has been an important settlement since the Bronze Age. The Norman cathedral is one of the finest examples of its type in the country. The town's museum is a good option for kids, stunning Burghley House to the north of the city is a popular excursion, and beer drinkers flock to the annual CAMRA festival in August.
