Very slow reception staff - it took about 15 minutes to check in and 15 minutes to check out. This is unacceptable at a business hotel. There were additional staff chatting behind the bar who could have helped out. The hotel needs to invest in faster check in/out procedures, a faster printer etc.

I got a super cheap deal on this hotel as they hardly had any guests at the time and I'm glad I only paid £50 p/night as anymore and I would have felt ripped off. The hotel lobby is really nice and welcoming, as is the restaurant however the room I stayed in was pretty low standard. It smelt of old smoke, the carpet was worn and there was mould on the curtains. The bed was comfy though and the shower was good so on balance I didn't mind overlooking the negatives. HOWEVER, the staff here are amazing and really made my stay. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful and knowledgable and for that reason I would probably stay here again if I needed budget accommodation.

Stayed overnight in room 14.
Immediate impression was how clean and well presented the room was. Rang for complementary robes and received them within 2 minutes.
Staff were very helpful throughout, particularly at breakfast.

I enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel. The pool and spa facilities were very good although sauna was not working at this time. Great place just to chill and relax and was very pleased to see they sold Starbucks coffee at the bar. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We do use hotels often and it would be really nice to have some English receptionist working on the reception.
The room was clean and found the window seat nice to use in room. Unfortunately the bed was too hard even though it had mattress topper. I woke several times in the night with painful hips.
The restaurant was not open the night we stayed.

The staff were extremely polite and courteous nothing was too much trouble. I had a misunderstanding as to the time of breakfast, consequently I arrived for breakfast half an hour late and everything had been cleared away. The staff speedily arranged for a light breakfast for me and my family for which we were. very greatful the room was clean and tidy, and staff provided us with extra pillows within minutes of us requesting them. I was very happy with my staff there

Sitting on the banks of the River Nene in the flatlands of East Anglia, Peterborough has been an important settlement since the Bronze Age. The Norman cathedral is one of the finest examples of its type in the country. The town's museum is a good option for kids, stunning Burghley House to the north of the city is a popular excursion, and beer drinkers flock to the annual CAMRA festival in August.
