This was my first time to this hotel and at the time I stayed and of writing the hotel was undergoing some renovations. As expected this can be inconvenient at times with noise, and various building equipment but overall it didn't hamper too much. The only things I had an issue with was my paper was never delivered and I had a room service dinner which was not as good as it sounded, however once I notified the room service manager, they gracefully did not charge me. I will stay here again and will gladly refer friends.

Yes lovely staff good check in for our group of 7. Lovely breakfast disappointed with outdoor areas. Swimming pool was not heated as advised, lack of seating for this area, spa too small and old. No balcony furniture. Could not understand how toilet roll is unreachable and behind ones back wrong and very uncomfortable. Otherwise great place for short term stay our group were comfortable.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor which was great. The apartment was spacious and clean. Thank goodness for the aircon but when I initially had it set at 18 degrees it started to leak. Rung reception who sent someone over and then informed me to keep the setting at 22 degrees. The leaking could have been avoided if we had had notification of this happening and the aircon was close to a power socket so it was a bit dangerous (my sisternlaw mentioned the same thing happens with their aircon which is a similar model). I also asked for the second bedroom to have a double bed but when we arrived it had two singles. Rung reception and the matter was quickly resolved. We also thought that the rooms had daily housekeeping but we soon discovered that there is none on Sundays, again there was nothing that indicated this and the sign on the door said daily house keeping. We did get notification that there was no housekeeping on Australia day but we had anticipated that. When handed the key when we first arrived, I was advised that the second key was for the gate to get in during afterhours and that it would be locked but I never once had to use the key because the gate was always open. I did think it was a little unnerving that you had to get out of the car to open the gate when needed (not so keen to do it when its late at night and you're by yourself. I would recommend that something should be done about the gate access. We did get free wifi and parking. Lastly I

Close to everything we needed. A little confusing at first to locate, but staff were great in directing us. Not an attractive location but pleasant, clean. Lobby was neat and clean. Some strange food smells were evident in the hallways. (Lots of curries for dinner I would surmise).
Close to public transport.

First night (friday) there was a possum in the roof, directly above the main bedroom. Advised reception. We were told nothing could be done until Monday and they had no other rooms anywhere to move us to. Said we could probably cope until then. So after 2 more interrupted nights, we came back Monday afternoon to a note from maintenance to say the Possum person could not come to friday. A rather irate phone call to the maintenance man and we were moved to another room. Much better sleeps thereafter.
Hot water service was leaking also. I think this should have been picked up by someone previously due to the water on the floor.
