Staff was very friendly, room was pristinely clean and smelled fresh. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was good too. great location . Only complaint is hidden room charges for any more than 2 guests. Basic but very nice.

Stayed 1 night. Room recently renovated. Very comfortable. Away from the traffic and great ocean views. Did not try the restaurant, but lots if options just minutes away. Certainly recommend and would stay here again. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

This was an excellent hotel. By international standards it ranks a three star as it lacks the marble and granite, spas and other items to make it a world 5 star. This hotel however matches all the best hotels on the east coast of Vancouver Island with its view. The rooms are superb. The staff were proud of their 9.1 rating and were obviously trying for a 10. A spa, bar and restaurant are next door at a pricer resort. It you want everything the best of the island has at a good price, this is perfect.

This is the first time as seniors we picked a hotel on the internet. We were very pleased it was very quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only criticize we might have is that our room was very small and only one chair no table to sit at so as seniors was a bit awkward trying to have a snack sitting on the edge of the bed.

The comfort, cleanliness and amenities are significantly better than the first impressions this "retro" motel gives from the outside. It is remarkably quiet, given the location and its own vintage. Given the summer popularity of this part of the island, the value for money is decent. I'd definitely stay here again.

I was less than impressed this stay after finding an empty pack of cigarettes behind my garbage indicating the cleanliness of the room. Simple but makes you wonder what wlse was missed. Also we had issues with out fridge. Our solution was to get some ice. Less than pleased with that answer.

Parksville is a popular escape for residents of Vancouver and tourists alike, and is blessed with miles of gorgeous sandy beaches and leafy parks. Sheltered from the worst of the Pacific weather by Vancouver Island’s mountains, it plays host to the annual Parksville Beachfest: an international qualification event for the world sand-sculpting championships.
