Lovely cottage, could comfortable sleep 6. Back yard has large cedars in just the right spots for great privacy. Has everything we needed! Pool was great, not hot, but not cold, great for our grandkids.

We rented a 3 bedroom unit which was a nice surprise to find to be a studio/bath and a 2 bed/2 bath so all 3 ladies had their own space.
The unit was a comfortable , modern, fully appointed unit but we found the main living space to be dark. The towels were changed out each day and the beds remade - again a surprise as in condo rentals we don't normally see this service.

This place was perfect for our young family of four! A spacious condo with full kitchen and bedrooms for us to feel like we're at home away from home! The view was spectacular! Watching the sun rise with our kids was worth it! And beach combing just steps away. Love this place! We will be back for years to come!

We had a waterfront room with a view of the Bay, lovely! The room was clean and the bathroom seemed clean too. However there was what looked like spots of black mold in the bathroom though. The beds were great, there was a table and chairs to sit at, a coffee maker that uses filters [not the prefab plastic things that I've been seeing] and they supplied a small fridge so we could keep cream and other things cold. I was quite happy with the room! As we were there for a weekend event there were meals supplied as well and we all enjoyed the food in the hotel dining room. I'd definitely stay here again.

The comfort, cleanliness and amenities are significantly better than the first impressions this "retro" motel gives from the outside. It is remarkably quiet, given the location and its own vintage. Given the summer popularity of this part of the island, the value for money is decent. I'd definitely stay here again.

Parksville is a popular escape for residents of Vancouver and tourists alike, and is blessed with miles of gorgeous sandy beaches and leafy parks. Sheltered from the worst of the Pacific weather by Vancouver Island’s mountains, it plays host to the annual Parksville Beachfest: an international qualification event for the world sand-sculpting championships.
