Only a 5 minute walk to the Palace of Versailles, this hotel is very convenient if you're in town to visit the Palace. Our room was comfortable for a family of 4 - 2 single beds a single sofa and foldaway cot. The bathroom was small but clean. Not too many places to eat nearby but a good choice of restaurants across from the Palace.

"Lovely hotel 10 minute drive from P of Versailles "
Peaceful area of Versailles away from the city. Can't fault the hotel but couldn't recommend the restaurant. Le Cafe des Artistes was truly disappointing. The food was a poor attempt at being creative with flavours but they got it so wrong. I would not venture upstairs to their Gourmet restaurant having eaten here.

It was O.K. to good overall. Front desk staff was great. We booked a garden view room but did not get(in the picture) a Garden view, be very careful when booking. They said we booked a park view which looked at the entrance and driveway., that was not what the picture showed of room . Don't park in the garage because it is 22.00 a day, Valet Park and tip 8.00 a day!! It would have cost us 220.00 to park the car at hotel.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights after a week long cruise in Provence. After our cabin any room would be an improvement. We were not disappointed. The Pullman rooms were large, roomy and very clean. We were tired the first night so dined in the hotel restaurant. Great meal!
We chose the hotel for it's location, steps away from Versaille.
Staff were helpful - had great suggestions and were able to direct us to places.
Unfortunately, on our last night, we were too tired again to go out for dinner. My meal was great. My daughter ordered the Caesar Salad. It was nothing like a Caesar, which traditionally should be simple; torn romaine, some anchovy, egg, and parmesan with a hint of garlic. It was overly fishy, had large chunks of tuna in it, tons of tomatoes and the lettuce was chopped like a southern salad. I don't mind fishy and I couldn't eat it. Next time we'll ask what's in their version of a Caesar.
Overall - we would stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location - close to the railway station and only 10-15 minutes to The Palace of Versailles. The room was basic but was very clean. There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

The marvel of its age, this splendid chateau was begun in 1668, taking over 20 years to convert a hunting lodge into Europe’s largest palace. Many of its rooms were stripped during the Revolution and still lie bare, but Versailles’ grandeur and magnificent formal gardens are unsurpassed. Just 20 km west of central Paris; RER Line C5 goes to Versailles–Rive Gauche, 700 metres from the entrance.
