"Lovely hotel, fantastic spa treatment!"
We stayed in one of the Old Swan rooms which was the older part. The room was nice but not that big - the bed was king size and very comfortable. We also had a small garden as we were on the ground floor. The shower was great, very powerful and always had hot water. The White Company toiletries was a nice touch - I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind providing new toiletries when only used once though! My husband and I both had a spa treatment which was amazing - I wanted to book another it was so good but unfortunately they were fully booked! We had dinner at the hotel one night - we both had steak which was very nice although I'd say over priced. If you want just pub food you would need to go somewhere else! Breakfast could have been better - it took 15-20 mins to replace cooked items when they ran out which wasn't really acceptable. We also had to ask for butter, tea and glasses - given the amount of staff we shouldn't have had to do this. Overall though, I'd say its a lovely hotel in a nice location. Parker the cat is also worth mentioning - he came and sat with us whilst we were having a drink in the garden and is a lovely boy, very friendly :)

"Good hotel, good location."
Stayed for two nights as wedding nearby in the Cotswolds. 3 rooms booked - requested to be close and they were. As well as wedding also able to visit Oxford city centre very easily on the bus. Rooms missing items - hairdryer, television control, but brought very quickly when requested. Some problems accessing the Internet , which were not resolved for all members of the party. - teething problems during re fit?

"Nice hotel "
This is a nice hotel for visiting Oxford. My only problem was it is a bit too far out of town in an area where there is nothing else nearby. The hotel itself is quite pleasant with a lovely garden next to river Thames.

"Great staff - great location- great facility"
This location is about 35 miles outside London & was a great place to begin our U.K. drive. For us it was a base for visiting Stratford on Avon and Blenheim palace. The huge, clean deluxe room was one of the nicest on our trip with super comfortable bed, great shower and a deep bathtub. This was a great, quiet, place to recuperate after 24 hours of travel on a Monday/Tuesday. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful and the food at their dining room was very good and fairly priced. Our stay here exceeded our expectations.

Malmaison Oxford

"Luxury in a former prison"
The Malmaison Oxford is close to Oxford's city center, so getting around is easy. Its facilities are luxurious and pricey--fluffy bedcovers and pillows, all kinds of extras in the rooms, excellent room-temperature control. You get what you pay for, to an extent. Our only quibble was with the water supply. The shower took forever to warm up, and then was erratic. A service person increased the pressure, but it didn't help much. The explanation was that it's an old water-heating system (left over from the prison days?). Otherwise, it's a fun place to stay, with quirky and humorous prison-decor touches. Imagine lifts fitted out as padded cells!

"Pleasant and Convenient"
A recently refurbished hotel which is a very pleasant part of the country, and convenient for for Oxford. There was a very warm welcome, and the staff in the hotel could not have been more pleasant - 5 stars. Nice fresh room with a very good shower room. A very good value restaurant with some different items on the menu. Two small improvements possibly: we were in a top room, and because of the traffic (not excessive in volume) we slept with the window closed. It was very warm, even using the supplied fan. An air conditioning unit for summer use would be a nice to have. Would also for the price, have liked a proper king size bed: there is room for one. Two small issues, but overall would revisit.

Oxfordshire is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Oxfordshire, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Oxfordshire hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
