The Oxford Spires Hotel staff were universally friendly and efficient, which made our stay so relaxing. Check-in was quick and efficient, despite our jet-lagged vagueness. The room was comfortable in all respects and spotless (thanks to Rita). Breakfast was a generous buffet of hot and cold foods, and tea and coffee was served and replenished graciously. The complimentary min-bar was a welcome surprise, including white wine, bottled water, orange juice and chocolate. Wi-fi signal was strong. Express check-out was speedy and our bags were stored safely, while we explored nearby Oxford. On return, I took advantage of the room's free drink voucher, and savoured a welcome and refreshing pint.

Good location, easy to find. Excellent breakfast. Clean, staff very polite and helpful.
Our three night stay was to give us a chance to visit Oxford, well positioned hotel with fairly near access to the Park & Ride into the city.
Ideal position, very good accommodation, reasonably priced - fully recommended.

High quality hotel, matched by the staff, in lovely grounds and in a great location just outside Oxford. We wanted to visit Oxford City and were able to use the park and ride, conveniently situated a few minutes drive from the hotel. Very good bar, breakfast and evening meal. We only stayed 2 nights so didn't utilise all the facilities - spa and pool looked very appealing- but would happily recommend it for at least a short City break.

The location of the Randolf is excellent. It's right in the centre of Oxford and directly opposite the Ashmolean Museum.
This really is an iconic hotel. It is however starting to look faded with gaffer tape holding down the carpet by the door into the bar, ceilings and walls in need of a lick of paint, lifts straight out of 1972 and wallpaper and furniture scuffed and scratched in places. Having said all that, I'm glad we stayed there although next time, if we're looking for a top hotel in Oxford, I think we'll try somewhere else.
The staff are very friendly and polite and work incredibly hard I couldn't help feeling that they are rather let down a little by their surroundings.

Very nice hotel, easy to find. Hosts very welcoming. The room was beautifully furnished. Location very good, within 10-15 mins walking distance of Oxford centre, and with good transport links for those who need it. The breakfast was great, lots of choice and well presented.

The dreaming spires of Oxford have inspired poets, musicians and novelists. Home to Inspector Morse and the world famous university, it also has a rich industrial heritage. The Ashmolean Museum is one of the finest in the country, Cowley Road is lined with cool pubs, and punting on the Isis is great fun, but most visitors are content just to wander the cobbled streets and soak up the grandeur.
