"Great setting."
Check-in was friendly and prompt. We were offered a room (with a view of the river) upgrade at a reduced price so we gladly accepted. The room was larger than most other places we have stayed. A breakfast bar separated the kitchen and living area, and there was a two sectioned bathroom with heat lamp. View from the kitchen was veranda and parking area, and opposite side of the room had patio doors to deck and waterfront. Free breakfast included was self serve and the food was of good quality and hot. The only reason I didn't give a "perfect" overall rating was because it does not have a restaurant, and there is not much to see off the property that was close by. Next time we stay, my wife and I are bringing our fishing rods. Great waterfront footage with docks, Adirondack chairs, and a gazebo.

Pocket Guide: St. Lawrence Seaway Ogdensburg Hotels

History lives in Ogdensburg, whether through annual reenactments of the Battle of Ogdensburg or the bronze pieces at the Frederic Remington Art Museum. This city along the St. Lawrence River is popular amongst ice fishing enthusiasts. In warmer months, visitors can scuba dive and scour for sunken treasure in the river amidst sunken ships and vehicles from the Prohibition era.
