From the moment we arrived we were treated with great hospitality. Our room was upgraded to a beautiful suite with a panoramic view of the city. Everyone from the bellhop to the concierge helped us with questions and made our stay one of our favorite stops on our European trip. Everything to see in Frankfurt was extremely accessible from the hotel.

"Beautiful and historic hotel, convenient location"
Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof is a beautiful, historic property in a convenient location in downtown Frankfurt. It's an excellent property for business travelers. It is walking distance (< 1mi) from the Frankfurt Main Hbf (central train station) with direct access to the airport via the S-Bahn and major European hubs via ICE. The Will Brandt Platz U-bahn station is also directly across the street if you prefer to transfer at the main station but if the weather is nice, it's an enjoyable walk past many restaurants and shops, even with a small suitcase.
The hotel is located just a few blocks from the Main River. I highly recommend taking some time for an evening stroll or after work run. There are many people doing the same or simply enjoying conversation along the river bank parks in the evening and a few nice restaurants to grab a bite to eat.
I had a standard interior courtyard room which is an entry level room. It was very spacious with a nice working area, large bed with soft linens, a sitting area, large closet and very modern bathroom which was large compared to many of the European hotels where I have stayed in the past.
The lobby is relatively small by modern standards but, as this is a historic building, it is elegant in a classical sense. A large modern bar and restaurant are out front. Unfortunately there was a private event the one night I was there as I would have loved to invite business colleagues to meet me after work for drinks on the patio.

I've been traveling none stop for the past 3 months.
I could fill expedia with reviews of hotels.
who knows, perhaps I will.
But if you are spending any time in the small but global 1980's rebuilt city of Frankfurt,
and you want to be in a hotel that is sexy and spunky, this is the one.
Funky.(but not obnoxiously so)
fun staff, great decor and design aesthetic and comfortable.
It's in East Frankfurt, the once-was-industrial-area that is quickly becoming the Shoredich of London or the Silver Lake of Los Angeles. The hip area where cool bars and cooler people are heading to.
This is a hotel you may not have the business meeting lunch at (unless you work in design, or gaming or showbiz etc) but it's the hotel you don't mind having friends show up to in the evening for a drink and to kick it before you head up to get some sleep for the big pitch the next day.
It's a bike ride away from city center, but there isn't much around you, so if you plan to walk to meetings, this isn't the joint for you, but if you are okay with a $10 euro taxi to city center, check in today.

Located on the south banks of the Main, Offenbach was once a leading exponent of the leather industry, the history of which is exhibited in the German Leather Museum. The Isenburg Castle now houses the Design University and there are two other impressive castles, the Rumpenheimer Schloss and the Büsing Palais. A former synagogue is now the Capitol concert hall and the famous Bieber's Tower is near the stadium.
