Room was clean and beds were clean and comfortable. Only small problem was a water leak in bathroom above shower. But hotel staff was quick to fix the busted pipe. Within an hour or so problem was solved. There was a party that apparently got loud we nerve heard anything. We stayed in an outside room. We will be back.

I stayed there for a couple of nights. The staff was very nice and welcoming. When I left the hotel, the manager followed me outside to the taxi just to say goodbye and ask about my job interview.
The room was spacious and clean. A/C worked well, great TV channels and the room had the necessary equipments (fridge, iron, microwave). The pool area was nice and the breakfast was good. The only 2 negatives were that there were some spots on the toilet and they didn't have cloth detergent so I had to walk around and buy one. Not a big issue through.

I had booked our stay online with my expedia app and when we arrived at the hotel the staff was unwilling to check us in because the hotel hadn't received our fax from Expedia for our stay. Our family of 6 had to wait outside in our car until I called Expedia to have them call the hotel staff. We waited almost 30 minutes until we could get checked in. The hotel wanted us to pay again for our stay because she wouldn't except my itinerary number or receipt of payment as verification of our stay. I had to call and stand in front of the clerk , call expedia and have the expedia rep talk directly to the hotel before we could get checked in. The hotel staff needs to be trained to handle these situations instead of leaving it to the customer. I had proof I had already paid and had a reservation but was still being told to call expedia or I wouldn't be checked in. This is unacceptable customer service. The hotel clerk could have called for me since my phone was almost dead, but simply told me I would have to pay again and have Expedia refund my money.

We went to Odessa for a class reunion. The staff at La Quinta made our stay really enjoyable. Each and everyone one spoke to us, was pleasant and was eager to make sure we had what we needed. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was good. Staff working the breakfast was especially nice and helpful.

Cattle, crude oil, and sonnets are among Odessa's unlikely combo of exports. Visitors can experience Shakespeare at the Ector County seat's replica of London’s famous Globe Theater and even marvel at a full-scale reproduction of Stonehenge at University of Texas, Permian Basin. In the plains just 10 miles from downtown is the nation's 2nd-largest meteor crater with the real fallen star on display.
