Clean room, well maintained property. Good view of the Red Rocks outside the room window. Kitchen was well stocked but there was no storage for food/supplies, other then fridge. Also could use a desk or table. Furniture was comfortable but old. Pool and hot tub were excellent. We had the one bedroom with kitchenette/living room upstairs and bedroom downstairs. No door bedroom door. Since it was just my husband and myself this wasn't a problem but if you are traveling with children or friends, there is limited privacy. Overall a nice hotel and a good price. Would stay again.

The hotel seemed newly updated. The room was very spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again when going up to Sedona. Located less than ~15mins from the central are of Sedona is perfect and there is a few trailheads in the Village of Oak Creek you could hike on if you didn't want to drive to West Sedona.

Just wonderful. Private room, large comfortable bed, huge bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and waterfall shower. Staff was very friendly, and the included breakfast was fresh and hand made. I wanted something other than the ordinary bedroom in a long hallway - got it here. Highly recommend.

The Penrose is absolutely beautiful. It's tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and every comfort is considered and provided. The staff is lovely and knowledgable, the breakfast was delicious, and the views are spectacular.

Best known as a Sedona suburb, Oak Creek attracts its share of visitors through three golf courses and a large outlet shopping center. Named for its shape, the nearby Bell Rock Vista and Pathway has a good trail for novice hikers. North of Oak Creek, the Chapel of the Holy Cross rises amid the red rocks. Divinely (and geographically) inspired, this modern Catholic church was completed in 1956.
