It had been over 16 yrs since we been to Foxwoods and I must say I loved our stay wish it was so short but next time for sure.Plenty of nice shops and activities besides gambling. Gambling of course is what its about , won a lil something something. Food choices are great.

Last minute trip to Mystic to take advantage of nice weather. After reading reviews, decided to book Taber Inne & Suites for our one night stay. Room was reasonably priced, clean with sufficient space for 3 of us. We had a basic room with 2 double beds. There was a table and chairs, and perfect sized wine glasses (a nice touch)! We did not sit on the deck behind our room, but found the indoor pool to be very large and clean. Our 5 year old grandchild was thrilled! Hotel staff very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. My only negative despite the cleanliness of room and bathroom was mildew in the tub faucet handle and rusting of shower pole rings (which are really easy to remedy). And the bathroom, as it was small, could use some towel hooks and/or rack. The continental breakfast was average, but gets you started. We would absolutely stay here again.

A heated pool is advertised, however there is no heated pool. In addition we had two days with no hot water for showers and it was after my husband asked that we found out one of the heaters broke. No information from hotel management was received regarding this issue.
The hotel amenities on their website includes parking, however when I received my bill we had charges for parking for $9.00 for each day we stayed. I was handed a parking permit, and asked what type of vehicle I had but not once a charge for parking was mentioned.

Hotel was very nice, clean, rooms had plenty of space. Only think some dents and stuff on the walls. Breakfast was great. Only down fall would be the pool, had a green tint... not sure if they check the levels or not

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable. Everyone dealt with the temp elevator outage. The restaurant for breakfast was also lovely, with good service and food selections. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would book the hotel again.

The harbor sits at the convergence of the Thames, Shetucket, and Yanic rivers in the downtown Chelsea district. In the summer 120 rose varieties are in bloom at the Norwich Rose Garden and the Connecticut Defenders play baseball at Dodd Stadium. The Leffingwell House Museum and other colonial-era homes are preserved in Norwichtown, the city’s oldest district, which is also home to the Mohegan Park.
