Stayed here a few days ago with family only for one night, as we were all going to a track day at Oulton Park the following day. Cannot fault this hotel, it is stunning. Great location, only a mile away from Oulton park, and about half an hour from Cheshire Oaks.
All staff members are very friendly and accomdating. The barman Charlie made our night with his humour. Bar runs for 24 hrs we were told. Breakfast was great, as we all had an early start - served from half 7 till 10. Full selection of choice, from full english to continental and cereals. Toast and hot drinks asked if we would like more continously by staff.
Rooms are very clean and have everything you would need in them for a short break away. The only thing I would fault is the shower kept switching from hot to cold in our room.
Had a walk round the grounds and they are beautiful, the hotel is situated in an old quarry with a lake around it - where activities happen. Very scenic, perfect location for a wedding.
A very idyllic rural hotel, thoroughly enjoyed my stay here - will be booking again soon.

Unusual and interesting hotel. The site offers a fascinating view into the history of the dock area with Europe's largest brick warehouse providing a splendid quirky view. The hotel is further away from Albert dock cultural venues and city centre amenities than expected.

A great first impresssion as you walk in with the firepit crackling away. Bar and restaurant area very nice, laid back and relaxing. A lovely terrace looking over the dock. A really nice room with separate bath and shower. As ever great toiletries which you can steal! (they tell you too!) (though no longer any moisturiser). I've stayed in various Malmaisons and my only critiscism is the beds just aren't that comfortable.. Hard with little give and they're like this in every MM I've stayed in. Malmaison just use the beds they use at the Premier Inn!
A nice location for a short stroll to the main part of the docks and in to the busier part of town for a night out if that's what you fancy. Everything is within easy walking reach and no car needed. It took me about 15 mins to walk to the hotel from the train station.
First time in Liverpool and I really enjoyed it, clean, modern and full of life.

Lying at the confluence of the Weaver and Dane rivers, Northwich is located about 30 km east of Chester city. Once an area reserved for mining, the town's modest salt museum is a fascinating insight into the industry that was dissolved in the 19th century. Elsewhere, the Anderton Boat Lift is an impressive structure through which visitors can voyage. An interactive exhibition is also on-site.
