The accommodations were good, staff were wonderful, breakfast was light but good. We had been promised a "roll-in shower; however there was a ledge of about three inches that could not be "rolled over" and too dangerous to use. It is ok for a person who can walk. The hand-bars need to extend out farther on the right hand side.

An artistic enclave just across the Black Warrior River from Tuscaloosa, Northport features art venues. The Kentuck Festival of the Arts occurs every October. Northport's downtown at the southern end of Main Avenue retains much of its 19th century architecture.
