We have stayed at other Drury hotels, so I made this reservation based on those experiences and reviews of this hotel online. We were not disappointed at all. The hotel and everything that goes with it are worth every penny you pay. The front desk staff and any other staff we encountered were very friendly. The room was great, and the hotel was overall quiet at night. It is close to the highway, so there is quite a bit of road noise, but it wasn't unbearable. The complimentary breakfast and evening snack options were great. There was plenty of seating in the breakfast area. The location of the hotel to all the events and places we were going was great. I guess overall I can't say enough good things about this stay.

At check-in, the staff member was very friendly and gave us an upgraded room. The lobby was magnificent and our room was very comfortable. There were several small touches throughout the room that made it perfect!
We had a drink at the hotel bar late in the evening. It was a very nice atmosphere and nice menu.
We ate at J. Grahams for lunch. The service was fantastic and the hot brown was delicious.
I can't wait to go back!

We stayed at this hotel when we attended the Lady Gaga concert at the KFC Yum Center in downtown Louisville. The hotel was a great and comfortable distance from the city and the staff was super nice and welcoming. The room was very clean and I enjoyed the decor and vibe of the room. Breakfast the next morning was good. When I return to Louisville, I will definitely remember where to stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the Galt House during NCAA cross country championships.
Pros: convenient to race and airport, clean room, restaurants inside hotel were convenient, very friendly staff throughout. Reasonable room rates for larger city.
Cons: paying $20 / night for parking . Somehow missed that detail on Expedia. Carpet in room felt dirty. Quite a bit of walking to get to rooms may be a factor for some people. Towers and elevators can be confusing to begin with.
Looks like they’ve done a lot of remodeling and common areas are quite beautiful. Rooms are regular hotel rooms in need of some repair and updating but in general ok.
Overall good stay. Think I’d stay at a smaller hotel next time and skip the downtown of Louisville. The city doesn’t seem like a place you want to explore and spend time in. Maybe Summer with the river nearby is nicer.
Hotel is a major site in downtown Louisville near the river.

Overall good hotel. Very clean! We had to ask three times for extra blankets before they were brought to us. Kids enjoyed the beautiful pool. We would have liked a continental breakfast, but we overlooked that not being offered.
