This is a small quiet hotel in the converted, probably Victorian, building on a quiet residential street. Windows of my room overlooked a parkland and river. Very relaxing! The room was clean with all necessary amenities, including a refrigerator, tea kettle. Buildings of this design and age do not have elevators which is quite OK with me (but may be a problem for people with disabilities). The major Glasgow attractions are either within walking distance (university with its museums) or 6 minutes of subway ride (downtown).

This hotel was superb! Staff were really friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, fresh and very comfortable. It was also in a quiet area but still walking distance to city centre. Lots of pubs, restaurants and shopping nearby. Really good value for money and great (free) parking right outside the hotel. We will definitely stay here when we are in Glasgow again

We were only here for 1 night but the staff was amazing! They were very welcoming and we had fun chatting with "cuddles" :) The hotel is located about 10 blocks from the train station and is centrally located. Didnt eat at the restaurant but the drinks were nice and cold, beds comfortable and staff wonderful
