It's a two star hotel. Rooms are spacious. Bathroom comfortable enough. Small touches like bottled water in any rated hotel is expected however lacking here. Checkout was quick. Rooms Are outdated in decor but still comfortable.

Thank you Margaret, for such a lovely, relaxing time with you. We appreciated everything you did for us, especially giving us time to get over our jet lag. All your restaurant suggestions were excellent as were the tourist options you suggested to us. So nice to come home to our room and just gaze out over the water and enjoy the view. It was also nice to be your only guests for a few days of pampering :)

I have been to this Inn twice and they have an adjoining rooms and we experience it once. This place is good and so close to Denny's and many others for eating anytime aside from their small restaurant in the hotel. We are happy with the value, cleanliness, and glad to have room coffee maker and generous free coffee (reg & decaf) & and comfortable beds. It's a true value for an overnight stay esp. if you are not looking for amenities other than sleep and freshening up, we planned outside activities so it worked out well for us!

At Thistledown every care has been taken to make one's stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. All the bedding and linens are of the highest quality and many thoughtful extras are included at no extra charge to add to the experience. The breakfasts are outstanding and elegantly served. I would certainly stay there again.

North Vancouver is the mountain-backed area directly across the Burrard Inlet from downtown Vancouver. The area is a shipping and tourist center, and offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. It is home to Grouse Mountain, a year-round mountain recreation park. Visitors can access the mountain's 1,110m (3,642-feet) summit via the The SkyRide gondola, or on foot via the “Grouse Grind,” a near-vertical trail.
