We were looking for a hotel which would be about half way home in our travels. We had one of our grandsons with us so wanted the hotel or area to be beneficial. We stumbled across this hotel on the internet. The pools and inside waterpark was a wonderful break along with the Presque Isles beaches in Erie, Pa. Will definitely recommend.

The hotel is nicely decorated. We didn't have any problems checking in. The beds were comfortable and the room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids to move around comfortably. The bathrooms are nice. The only problem, was we had a shower with no tub. I didn't make a big deal because my boys don't mind taking showers. But if you are checking in with kids, you might want to make sure there is a tub. I had read previous reviews about their breakfast. It was a busy week when we stayed. They would run out of plates. It was an okay set up with a variety of choices. It's free so you get what you pay for. Lol. It would be nice to have a pitcher of water added. They have juice, coffee and milk. If you want a more elaborate breakfast, IHOP is walking distance. My children enjoyed the pool. Overall our stay was great for the location and price.

This is our second trip to Fairway Suites, and I can't wait to go back! We stayed in one of the 3 room King Suites. Each bedroom has its own full bath, mini fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, sink and utensils and separate outside entrance The main living area also has its own bath with a washer and dryer. We saved a ton of money by utilizing the full kitchen and cooking our own food. Everything was clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The only thing I don't like is the ice maker inside the freezer - I worry that the people that stayed before us may not have had clean hands, lol. So we dump all the ice out of the bin and let it make all new. Perhaps the staff does this in between guests, but I didn't think to ask.
