Judging by the architecture, the Academy Hotel is an older structure, but it has been maintained quite well. There is an indoor pool and restaurant right off the lobby. The breakfast buffet was the best buffet I've ever had at a hotel and rivals many restaurants I've eaten at. The bed was very comfortable and the flat screen television was fairly large with plenty of channels. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room we got was great for us-- on the ground and really good for our 6-lb toy poodle. The shower fridge and bed were clean; but the vacuuming job was marginal. The pet area was LOADED with excrement, so if it wasn't so frozen out there, it might have been extremely smelly. Needs an upgrade, but all in all for one night stay worked for us.
