We spent only one night before flying out of San Francisco. The hotel was easy to find with convenient (yet expensive $48 parking). Just a few blocks from the wharf.

"Convenient location, nice staff"
For our 3-day 4-night vacation over spring break as first-time SF visitors, this was a great location. Close to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and Pier 39.City-view room had view of Ross and gas station, but Coit Tower in background was nice treat. Not much info about hotel was in the room so we did not know hours or description of restaurant or pool (although we did not have time to swim we were so busy touring). Concierges were VERY helpful, spoke to Claudia and Allen and got great tips from both. We got 2-day tickets for Big Bus tours at their suggestion and it made our trip very enjoyable (I later found out the concierges are paid by Big Bus, though, so maybe this was not a neutral recommendation). No room service available but nearby restaurants open early and late were less expensive and fairly convenient.

"Nice hotel"
We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and this hotel is amazing, the room is very clean, friendly and accommodating staff, the complimentary breakfast was very good, food was kept warm, fresh fruits and more than enough food for all the guest, well organize staff and able to manage the big crowd and didn't run out of food. And the location is walking distance to the fisherman's wharf, stores, grocery, the SF famous cable cars, etc. and it is really easy to go places walking and not to worry of driving around looking for parking. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Boheme - San Francisco Hotels

Hotel Boheme

444 Columbus Ave, San Francisco - Map
I loved Hotel Boheme because of its charm and uniqueness. The rooms were very clean and had great architectural features such as curved ceilings and irregularly shaped rooms; nothing cookie cutter about it. It is centrally located, an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf and Coit Tower, and a fabulous place to get coffee right across the street that opens at 6:00 AM for us early risers! Everyone at the front desk was very kind and helpful and in the evening a tray with cream sherry and glasses was set out for the guests; great to come back to after a day of exploring. I felt very at home at Hotel Boheme and when I am fortunate enough to return to San Francisco this is where I will stay.

Courtyard San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf

580 Beach St, San Francisco - Map
"Near all main attractions and trolleys"
I thought Courtyard was overlooking the bay but the view I got was the top of a roof BUT-after getting over the fact that no room here had a view of the bay. I focused on the other aspects~our room was newly renovated. Comfortable bed. Staff was professional and courteous to all our needs. Fishermans Wharf was like a 2 minute walk from hotel~trolley right around the block! The rates are pricey for this hotel with minimal view-no balcony-but then again "Who stays in the room in San Fran?"

We spent two nights here. Hotel room was very small but nice. We enjoyed the wine and tea time and met a lot of nice people from different states. The hotel was located close to the wharf and we were able to walk to many places. I would recommend staying here!

The Tuscan, A Noble House Hotel

425 North Point, San Francisco - Map
"Good location"
The hotel is under construction and we were not told during booking. If I would have known only one floor was available and the hotel was a mess with construction starting every morning at 7 I would have spent my honeymoon elsewhere. You enter the makeshift lobby through a stairwell and its frustration not having a fully functional hotel. We had one of the newly renovated rooms and it was tiny and when I filled the bathtub with water mold chunks came up the drain.

I needed a small, economical hotel for a few night's stay in San Francisco. The San Remo is the PERFECT hotel; don't fret about the shared bathroom accommodations; it's the quickest way to make new friends! It's minutes from the wharf area. Staff is young and helpful. Top recommendation!

North Beach is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in North Beach, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your North Beach hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
