My wife and I stayed at the Lookaway Inn when we were in the area for a family wedding. John, the world's best innkeeper, met us as we arrived. Everything was perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we could need. Breakfast was fine and the conversations around the table made us want to spend the day there. Overall, it was a great experience, and I recommend it highly.

We stopped in on our way to Pine Mountain, Ga. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with nice amenities, including a decent sized fridge with freezer. The hot breakfast was good. It would be nice if there were a few more fresh fruit options, however there were green apples and oranges. We would definitely recommend.

Great experience for the price! Def need to pull mattresses out from wall to vacuum at head of bed but other than that, no complaints. Staff went over and beyond and room was clean to my expectations. Fairly quiet and safe location. Wasn’t worried staying by myself for the weekend. Will def return when I visit again!

While we all know that the Hotel Aiken is a bit tired, that seems to add to its character. it's definitely a great value and location. They've made some improvements since my last visit a year ago -new furniture in the lobby and the bathroom in my room seemed spruced up.
The staff couldn't be more friendly!

Facing Augusta from across the Savannah River, North Augusta was established over 300 years ago. Today the town retains old world charm with quiet downtown streets accented by brick buildings and copper steeples. Visitors can enjoy the mild climate while strolling through shops or sample traditional southern fare in local restaurants. Golfing, hiking, and fishing are also popular activities.
