Our stay at the Continental was a pleasurable experience. Clean rooms, housekeeping was top notch, great breakfast, gym facilities were basic but get the job done and very clean, check in was quick and flawless.
Our only real complaint would be the lack of storage items in the room for luggage and our things. We are spending 5 weeks in Scandinavia and have lots of luggage. We asked for an extra luggage stand which the staff delivered within 30 minutes, still though keeping our things organized was a daily hassle due to the lack of shelves or drawers.
I would highly recommend staying at the Scandic.

My daughter and I arrived very late and the young man met us with a smile and promptly handed us the card access to our room. We were very tired and went straight to bed. The room was tastefully decorated and the beds were comfortable and quality linen was provided.
The next morning the young girl at the desk explained to us about taking public transport and the requirement of a card for travel, plus the cost of fares. This was very helpful to us.
The breakfast provided was excellent. At entry to the dining room, they provide a shot glass of fresh juice for "good healthy start" for the day. The variety of choices for breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was what made this hotel stand out. The room was fine, a bit small, but manageable for those who pack light. The music in the elevators could be a bit grating. Thankfully the elevators were quick.

This is Stockholm’s city center, making it one of the most convenient places to stay. It’s home to the Central Station, Stockholm’s most famous park, Kungsträdgården, and Sergels Torg (think Times Square or Piccadilly Circus). The Royal Opera House and Hötorget symphony hall are also here. Shoppers flock to NK, Sweden's answer to Harrod's.
