The room was small, but the hotel itself was great. Really enjoyed the huge complementary breakfast buffet. The shuttles running every 15 minutes to the game was a great deal. No traffic in or out period and we went to a big game. If you're going to an OU football game this is a no brainer!

Would of been better, however, after booking and paying on line, they wouldnt let my guest in the room before I gave them my credit card info for incidentals. This caused them to wait 2 hours in the lobby.

For the bed and breakfast inn: this review was very hard to rate.. I would say a more precise would be a 3.5. The room and amenities were excellent. We stayed in the lavender room, which included a jacuzzi, comfortably fits 2 people. We enjoyed the candle, bubbles, and sea salt that came with it. The complimentary selection of movies and snacks available were also a huge plus! The breakfast was phenomenal! It is personally delivered to your room at the time you request it. Fresh coffee is also made outside of the room in the hallway. Bathrobes, makeup remover wipes were an unexpected plus! I can't really rate the service because we were pretty much left alone the entire time.
The only downfalls were that 1) we did not get greeted properly. A teenager was the one that gave us our keys. I wish we had an actual host that told us what activities there was to do in town since it was our first time in OK. And also to tell us the details of our stay. 2) out bed was lopsided- the left side was steeper than the right, which made it hard to sleep with your partner. 3) the tv was staticky (if you wanted to watch cable, the movies view were fine)
All in all, we still enjoyed our quick getaway night. We will still keep this location in mind with the hope that next time they have a better host and a new bed. Perhaps we will give a different suite in the future!

This is a basic hotel with a few updates (granite countertops, fridge and microwave in room) which I got at a discount, but the normal list price of $144 per night is excessive for what is pretty much a basic hotel room. The staff was courteous and efficient at check in, but, and maybe I'm just old and conservative, were a little unprofessional in their treatment of guests. Some people might be fine with jokes about their last names when they check in or "hey" as a response to a good morning and if that's you then the hotel goes up in rating a little. Otherwise it was really nice. The room was quiet and clean and in good repair. Check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was a typical continental with a couple of hot options. Parking was free and close to the room and there was plenty of space to walk the dog. It is adjacent to a casino which might account for the higher price tag.

We had very good experience. EVERYONE at the hotel/restaurant/cleaning people was very friendly and accommodating. There is OU memorabilia ALL over the walls of Sooner Legands and we spent a lot of time, just looking and enjoying going down "memory Lane" with the pictures of Bud Wilkinson, Barry Switzer, Bob Stoops.........and the teams involved. The rooms were VERY clean and roomy. We will stay there again. It is our hotel of choice when we go to Norman, Oklahoma :-)
We had a VERY good buffet breakfast and many choices of hot and cold food.

Home to the University of Oklahoma, Norman is the state's third-largest city. It boasts the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, and the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. In 2000, the art museum was given the Weitzenhoffer Collection, one of the most important collections of impressionist art, including works by Mary Cassatt, Vincent van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, and others.
