The staff was friendly. The room was dark and cold. The comfort was ok. It was mostly clean but kind of run down looking. Easy things like bathtub stopper missing and remotes not programed that could've been done. Also, shower curtain smelled very musty.
The stay wasnt bad though. If they could keep up on these things that would help and try to update rooms a bit.

The wife wanted to spend the weekend in town shopping. I didn't want to spend a fortune for a room we would only sleep in. The breakfast in the mornings was good. Not much fresh fruit though but good basics. The OU memorabilia is outstanding. If you aren't an OU fan it can be a little overwhelming. The hotel has been around for a while but it is well kept and clean. Current construction make it a little challenging to find but the room was quiet and comfortable. The location was close to many shopping and eating facilities but traffic wasn't too bad.

I found this to be a great value for the superior experience compared to other hotels in the area. The accomodations are gracious and the food is beyond doubt the best I've had in the area. Treat yourself to a well-prepared meal--my steak was tender and the sauce expertly flavored. Not cheap, but well worth the price. Each room is uniquely decorated and the beds are comfortable. Foreign travelers, in particular, will find this place meets standards.

Staff greeting was excellent and overall team was very responsive and friendly. Facilities are attractive. Our stay was comfortable. Unfortunately our room was not serviced and we had to request more towels. However The staff responded with towels and some extra pillows and blankets within just a few minutes.

In 2000, the art museum was given the Weitzenhoffer Collection, one of the most important collections of impressionist art, including works by Mary Cassatt, Vincent van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, and others.
