"Heritage Hill Resort"
Very clean (unit most important this). Fairly old as are most buildings on Norfolk Is. Water has a strong iron taste. Kitchen cupboards are in need of a new coat of varnish, but still well kept. Some parts of the building exterior need a sand back / repaint. Plenty of room to park, (a car is absolutely necessary for a holiday at Norfolk Is). However, the driveway entry almost requires 4 wheel drive due to the very large potholes. Much the same as the Island roads which have been repatched so often it is a wonder that the local cars hold together. The fridge in the apartment was very old, but still ran well (but it did wobble on its feet). We did not use the gas stove. Microwave worked okay. Toaster, cutlery, plates etc all okay. Our 2 bed room apartment was very roomy except for the bedroom with the double bed which had very little space either side of the bed. (But bed was very comfortable and linen very good.) Towels very good, shower cramped. Plenty of wardrobes and cupboards. There was an almost total lack of lighting in the lounge area which made reading at night very difficult. I should have asked for some more lamps. TV set is good (Aussie freeview only) and furniture good and comfortable. Guest laundry was cramped and untidy as it is actually the motel laundry which meant that there was a lot of use. Definitely a place to stay.

"Great stay at the White House "
We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the White House. It was a wonderful place to stay even though there were only four of us- it can sleep 10! It was well appointed with comfortable beds, views of the coast and large verandah. It had everything we could possibly need when we invited friends for a dinner party.

"A Great way to unwind. "
Greeted by Wayne with our vehicle for the week. Told us about the NI wave and the few rules the Island has regarding the cattle. The week we had was filled to the brim with Colonial History, talks of the past generations of Tahiti, Pitcairn and Norfolk Islands, the hardships of colonising with unfamiliar produce and animals, beautiful scenery, amazing fresh produce, welcoming community spirit, fascinating flora & fauna. We were surprised that we jagged the Annual Trans Tasman Country Music Festival. What a blast we and I think all the town folk had. Well done to the organisers and the outstanding performers from AUS & NZ. We will be telling all our friends and family about this little gem in the South Pacific. WE WILL BE BACK......

"Norfolk Island retreat"
Upgraded to a larger house, which was delightful in every way. Super comfortable and spotlessly clean. In a country area, very peaceful with just the feral chickens as company.

Norfolk Island is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Norfolk Island, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Norfolk Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
