"Beautiful hotel, crack staff, lacking amenities"
This is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. The rooms are very nice; my bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom fantastic. On the negative side, there was no microwave or guest refrigerator, only a minibar that charged you if you touched anything. There was no parking option except valet or paid parking garage (I was charged 25 bucks for valet; a hotel this pricey should charge nothing). The room service was decent although very expensive and I had to explicitly request condiments (butter, salt, pepper, jam, cream, sugar, etc) or they would not be provided. I chose this hotel because of the proximity to DPAC, but I would probably not stay here again.

The hotel is awesome. It is very quiet and the rooms are well appointed and first class. The indoor pool and gym plus golf and walking trail give you no excuse to not exercise. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is fabulous.

"Weekend Getaway"
We stayed one night in the Kings Daughter Inn. The room was beautiful, I wouldn't change a thing. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything was modern with a classic feel. The decor was perfect throughout the Inn. The staff were all happy to help with anything, and very friendly. I only wish we had more time to stay longer on this trip!

"Decent, clean place for visit to UNC Hospital"
I just spent one night due to a visit to UNC Hospital. Pros: The front desk lady was super nice. (See rest about check-in below). Clean Room. Bed slept well. No loud neighbors. Decent price. Convenient to Hospital and eating establishments. Easy to find and well lit parking. Air conditioning worked well. Cons: The check in process was lengthy. There was only one front desk person and a line waiting. I believe I was number 6 or 7 waiting on a weekday evening check-in. Only provided 2 washcloths which even in a room with 2 people is a bit extreme. I could have asked for more but just worked it out for the one night. No frills as far as microwave or fridge but that wasn't really a con. That was the room I selected and was sufficient for my brief stay.

"Perfectly fine for the money"
My stay here was perfectly fine. For the money I paid, I don't expect luxury. And I certainly did not get luxury. What I got was a very clean room, a firm mattress, a clean bathroom, an efficient checkin, and a very friendly van driver to and from the airport. There were places to eat right next door, very convenient. I would stay here again when I have a layover at RDU.

"Charming in every way! "
Love this place. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, lovely accommodations. Gorgeous tub and bathroom. Restaurant good but inconsistent with quality day to day. Walking distance to Franklin street shops and restaurants. Wish they had a pool, very hot and humid when I was there.

Ninth Street is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Ninth Street, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Ninth Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
